I think it's just the texture of the tufftek. Amazing looking gloves though.

How do you like the Bonafide's? Have you used Hustler's before? I was curious as to how the Bonafides compare to the Hustlers. The available color combos are really nice.

Congrats. If the physicals are anything like they are around here, you should ace them. 95 on the written is nuts. When I did mine, they said the highest they had seen was a 93% if I remember right. Albeit I did mine through a testing agency and not an individual department. Good luck to you. Tonight is the first night I'm spending in my first place, a condo. What makes it feel so good is that I did almost all of the work here myself or with the help of my family. Feels great.

Two latest pick-ups to maybe replace my Eastons. Unfortunately the 8090's are too small for me so I'll probably just get rid of them. The 5090's fit great though, sick pads.

My phone (Droid) decided it wanted to delete almost all of my pictures and videos on its own. I had some pictures and videos that I really, really wanted to keep and now they're more or less gone forever. I recovered the folder with the files, but they are all corrupt or damaged to the point that I haven't been able to fix them. I hate this phone so much sometimes....

I think that's because they're 3 different gloves. Mine are the 2010 Pro Series, the black/red ones are the Fubar Pros, and yours are the 2009 Pro Series. Edit: too late, ininew got it.
-
Not the best pic, but new gloves. Warrior Pro Series. This was a color scheme I'd kicked around on custom Warriors and more-or-less the same specs. Plastic inserts, mesh gussets, tufftek outer, and the bonus of the embroidered logo for less than half the price.

Custom Glove Gallery (questions and answers)

I just noticed a couple little changes on the Warrior Customizer. The "performance" palms, Mustang and Kangaroo, are only a $7 upcharge now as opposed to the $20 they were before. There's also no upcharge for mesh gussets or using one of the "pro" styles now either. The pro pack foams with inserts dropped to $10 too. -

If I'm spending almost $300 on a pair of gloves, I don't want the Warrior logo peeling off at any point. For that money I'm going to get my moneys worth out of them, and I want an embroidered logo. It's no different than the different cuffs and gussets people want. It's all personal preference. -

Is it still not possible to get the logos embroidered on a pair of custom Warriors? I've debated plenty of times about ordering a pair, but if I'm spending $220 on a pair of gloves I don't want screened logos. -
He's probly there to try and take a shot off the faceoff. I do that pretty often.
-
Don't just leave us hanging. What exactly did Eagle change for you?
-
Wow those are really nice looking. What size are they? The cuff looks bigger than a 14".
-
Are the gussets a stretch material or mesh?
-
Is it possible to get the logo embroidered on custom Warriors yet? I've toyed with the idea but can't imagine spending almost $300 on a pair of gloves and not being able to get it embroidered.

The blades are $60 shipped to the US. I think shafts are $80 shipped. If I like how the blade feels in my Dolomite shaft I'm going to order a couple to stock up. First impressions in the Dolomite are good. It feels nice and light, maybe a little better balanced than the Base one piece.
-
Yeah the BC01 is the Hossa pro. I've got two of their one pieces with the BC01 and love the curve. I didn't know they offered tapered blades either until I asked. Apparently they are offering both blades and shafts seperately now. I've always been a two piece guy and it's more cost effective for me in the long run. The turnaround was about two weeks?? When I ordered it, they said they are trying to get stock built up so the turnaround time will be shorter in the future.
-
New goodie showed up today. BASE tapered blade in the BC01 curve. No need to post the curve since it's already been out there a few times. The blade itself is really light. Going to put it in a Dolomite shaft and see how it feels.

Those EQ Pro shins look really nice. They look similar to my older Synergy 800's, which I love a lot.
-
Sweet gloves. Does Eagle upcharge for things like the shortened cuff and mesh gussets?
-
Castle Ice?? The rink and the guy in the maroon helmet look familiar.
-
Damn those are beautiful. I don't think you can beat gloves in the TB color scheme. Where did you get those and did they have more?

New sticks finally got here today. Delays at the factory pushed the shipping time back, so Friday would've been 3 weeks from the day I ordered. I ordered 75 flex, clear finish, and sandpaper blade with the BC01 curve. The curve is sick. I'm posting a picture of the profile of the blade for those that are wondering what it looks like. I laid my Easton ST on top of it, and the lie and general blade shape are nearly identical to my Sakic curve. The shape differs towards the toe because the BC01 is a little shorter and has a narrower toe as you can see. The sandpaper finish is just like Easton's Z-Tac, but I'd say Base's is a little coarser. It feels really good. The stick feels light and well balanced. I have a Dolomite 75 flex shaft with a Vapor XXXX Naslund blade in it, and my Base stick feels pretty similar to it. Compared to my '10 Easton ST, I'd say the Base stick is a little lighter and a little better balanced. Shaft shape is similar to my Dolomite, but a little thicker in the hands. I'd love to get one of the new EQ50 plugs to put in it and try, but I can't find any. Luckily I have a skate in less than two hours, so I get to tape them up and try them out tonight.
-
I tried on the EQ50's the other day too. Really nice feeling gloves, I just don't like the look of the flex cuff portion of the glove. They'd look much better with a traditional style cuff.

Yeah that is a great idea. I never even thought about using a dehumidifer. I might have to clear some space out in my closet and give that a shot. How big/how much was the one you bought?
