i am not sure it would help the game if we went back to wood.... in the end its the parents ability to say " NO " to their kids. the problem nowadays is that parents dont know how to tell their kids " NO " ( Darkstar mentioned this in another thread ) and they get whatever they want. BIG PROBLEM. while i benefit from the sales of these sticks.... i would much rather sell 10,000 wood hockey sticks than 5000 comps.... MORE PEOPLE PLAYING HOCKEY. i dont think Easton or any other MFG should apologize to anybody. the end user dictates much of what we sell. just like people that complain about the price of gas... yet they hop in their Hemi or Hummer and stomp on the peddle racing stoplight to stoplight. you have an excellent point here though... SKATING ABILITY before top of the line gear, but it starts with parents and their ability as a PARENT.

The comment was mostly made as a sarcastic jest, with the sticks featured in the vid being wood and JR dubbing them as "Easton's New Stick". But yes, wood would benefit the game. My parents (esp. my Dad) didn't let me use composite until Bantams.

Actually, the word "fire" reminds me something like Mission fuel-ish design. I hope Easton don't do anything similar to that of Mission designs.... just a personal taste..

Just curious... It hasn't been long since they launch the new stealth line... I don't think this new "fire" thing (or line) won't change whole a lot... Maybe another line added just like Stealth being added up couple years ago...
