I really want them to add the outdoor arenas.. How cool would a few winter classic stadiums be and then just a generic pond hockey type arena (Mystery Alaska style) would be great fun :)

At this point I would think if EA did have the licensing for it, they would be pimping it as a major feature already. Never know though.

I'm on the fence for this game. Every year we're all jacked up and by October I'm tired of it. 2k9 was not the best but it gave me a pleasant change from EA. Yeah parts of it were real bad but I still played it. I think I'll rent it first. CODMW2 is what I cant' wait for.

I wish you would be able to shorten the season. I only bought one year of 2k, but they had an option to choose the number of games in the season. 82 games just gets to be so long. One of the best parts about dynasty mode is dealing with the gm off seasons stuff. Having to play all the regular season games plus playoffs gets really boring. And simming them just messes up your stats.

Also, does anyone have a problem with the schedule in dynasty once you get past the first year? in 08 and 09 for xbox, after my first season with the Bruins, the schedule always gets in this format where there's 10 or so home games in a row, then 10 or so away games. It's not a huge deal, but it seems like something they should have noticed and fixed.

Simulating games gets you kicked off the first line in a hurry, and is pretty negative for stats and grades. If I'm a 30-points-in-20-games player and sim 2 games I have the risk of being put of waivers and claimed. I have had it happen, that's not hyperbole.

Some new pictures here. There's also some pictures on the EA forums that shows some of the gear available when you create-a-player. What everyone's in a fuss about is the "fantasy" equipment gets stat boosts. You can put attribute boosts on the gear to give your player a little extra edge, where the regular gear apparently doesn't get those perks.

Yeah, hopefully the people I play with don't use any of that lame looking stuff. Pretty dumb how you seem to get better attributes by being less authentic to the sport. They could have at least made fantasy brands with more realistic designs on them (something that was somewhat popular in the PC modding community) instead of just taking random graphics and throwing them on a skin.
