If this is legit, these might be the ugliest jerseys this season. The stripes going every which way, the piping abuse...I shudder to imagine what the socks are going to look like.

I actually like the way the jersey is designed, but I'm disappointed with the choice of logo. Seems kind of lazy to me.

I'm with ibeck...I like the design, my only complaint is the color scheme. But you can't really get around that without completely changing the team's jerseys again.

Also, I LOVE the duck helmet on the shoulders, paying homage to the Mighty Ducks.

i think its looks pretty sharp, just the logo is sooo bad, it looks better than their current home to me if they swapped out the logo. when i first heard about anaheim making a third jersey i thought maybe they'll do an orange one like the SF Giants in mlb xP nhl needs more colour no matter how bad it looks imo

I doesn't look THAT bad on the Hurricanes jersey but I still don't get it. Why would you outline... nothing? Anyway, just my opinion

I hope you don't mean the eggplant script ones. Those were one of the best looking 3rds an NHL team has produced IMO.

I agree that the multi-banded stripes cause the busy-ness. I just think the yoke compounds the problem.

Ideally, I'd prefer a toned down striping package with the yoke. If they're married to the stripes as is, they should dump the yoke.

They do a third jersey with the mindset of replacing their current jersey in the future. It's an easy way to test the waters, get some sales going, etc etc.
