NHL 12 was released early in Europe, and the new Warrior helmet is in it.

Go to about the 31 minute mark of this video, and you can see it. It's called the "Koretex." Looks funky, like a cross between a Bauer and a Reebok. There's a pair of skates later in the video I can't quite make out either. New Reeboks maybe?

Because they probably don't have a good in with Easton, that's why.

I collaborated with 2k Sports from 2k7 to 2k9 - we ate EA's lunch every year when it came to equipment choices.

The arm stripes on the white jersey bug me a little, seems like a little too much. But overall I like them. And I agree, grey instead of white would have been great.

yeah, I agree with this. the stripes seem unnecessarily fat to me and REALLY low on the arm.

I doubt an NHL team would ever do grey for the road. maybe when time comes to get a third....

Problem with a third is that means the road team would have to pack darks.

You do a light grey jersey, it can pass as a home.

road teams pack darks all the time though I will say I hate when they do. makes it hard for me to know quickly who's home and who's away. look at the Leafs, their third is usually a white with blue shoulders.

I like the overall design of the jerseys, but it IS a fairly bland design (dark/dull colours), combined with the pretty bland/corporate logo (all I see is Air Canada when I look at these things) the jerseys just look a bit boring. Those jerseys with a different logo could look great, but overall the look is just a bit "meh" to me, a bit bland, especially compared to their old jerseys:

Can't stand 'em. I see Florida's thirds, Pittsburgh's thirds, Columbus' thirds, and from that lighting, a hint of Rimouski Oceanic. A splash of red would have completely changed the look.
