The Bulldogs had a Practice Worn Edge jersey (Baby Blue, size 54) for sale a few games ago, $70...I walked by it because it was pre-christmas and I didn't want to spend the money....I've been to 3 or 4 games since and nothing.

Kicking myself. Probably not going to see another and if I do it will be red or black or navy. Not nearly unique as what I passed on.

Did you actually win 3 from him? This auction isn't over, not too late to message him, say that if you win all 3 and he doesn't combine shipping you'd like your bid removed or ask if he will combine it.

"Shipping cost is 19.99, because starting price is only .99"... why not start at $20?

I just messaged him about canceling the bids, I even offered to still bid on one pair from him after the bids are removed. I'm just hoping he's cool about everything. I just have a problem with the listing not being clear and then getting a pretty nasty shock when I ask if he is combining the shipping and he says no. Just seems like shady business practice to me.

EDIT: the guy just canceled my bids. really appreciate it. If you're going to buy from this guy I really advise messaging him and talking things out, the item descriptions are just terrible.

Those are authentic Edge socks- the retail version, which goes for about $25 normally.

Exactly those.

Pro ones do not have a logo on the sock and come in sizes- they'll have a jock tag on the top of the sock with a size on it.

Those should cost about $5 to ship- large padded envelope would be enough for all three pairs. I don't think he grasps what auction means and is using the shipping charge as a price.

Can you still leave feedback? because this guy deserves a pretty negative entry.

He's most likely setting the price low and the shipping high because ebay takes a commission off every item sold, both a listing fee and at the end of the auction. If he makes his money in the shipping, he doesn't have to give as much money to eBay. Don't know if it's been said before, but that's what he's doing. Pretty shady business practice

Reported him to Ebay for inflated shipping prices, and for misleading item description. I do not know if I should have, but I cannot take people lying like that. I definitely agree that he does not understand what the meaning of an auction is. He said in one of his messages back to me after I explained my frustration with the way he is selling that, "I do not have to give my items away on Ebay." At which point I started to have a huge problem with the way he was doing business.

ebay idiot? I really want a Jofa 690, and I have a 7 1/4 head, but that shipping seems ridiculous to me, especially since that guy lives probably 45 minutes from my place.

So why not send him a message and see if you could pick it up? I've picked up a number of items off of ebay from nearby sellers to save on the shipping, most sellers are cool with it as long as they're not the shady type.

Wow, that's friggin' parcel post, too. I could ship bodies for less.

I bet that's one of those, Starting bid is $0.99, so I will inflate the shipping by 20 dollars to make sure I at least make some money, type listings.

Just a quick question, are these Marian Hossa's sticks? Looks like his curve and he would have repainted sticks although I don't recall him using a 75 flex.

Scroll back to page 89 for a bit of info on these sticks. If I wasn't in fear of being the 1st guy to get divorced prior to his wedding, I would buy all 3.

No. They're Zac from Mission's sticks. He posted on here when someone asked about this auction before. You'd think the seller would mention they're Hossa pro stocks to get some bids going?
