Have you looked at the Warroad game day sock? I just got a pair and I really like them. Feels almost like a dress sock.

Liner socks all the way!  Going to be the thinnest you can find, since they are designed to go on under another pair of socks.  I just picked up a few pair of the Elite liners that are ribbed.  They aren't quite as thin as the older version of the liner, but not bad.

I’ve been a huge fan of Darn Tough ultralight runners socks. I think that’s the line. Thin, no padding, mid-calf height, and they’re made from wool so they resist odors. Then there’s DT’s lifetime guarantee. Worth every penny

If you want the thinnest socks, don’t spend a lot.

Champro that you can get at Epic Sports are like $3-4/pair.  We have a ton.  They are as thin as you can get, basically slightly thicker than panty hose and comparable to liner socks that have been mentioned.

I went through all kinds trying to find what I wanted.

Nothing beats Darn Tough's warranty!

I second FoxRiver.  They're great and pretty durable for how thin they are.

Agreed. Great sock for the price point.

Tuff n Lite socks are very thin in the actual foot part of the sock, they beef up a little bit in the ankle when the cut-resistant material begins.  I've been using a pair for many years and they've held up well

What is so good about these socks? Are they better than thinees? Thinees are thin, but my feet are always soaked.

FoxRiver liners, for the price, are very durable (even though very thin), and very good at moisture wicking.  Thinees are more like pantyhose with a reinforced toe.  So they don't deal with moisture as well imho.
