No longer collecting dust in the back of one of my rink pro shops...

I know that many on here do not like the VA Tech testing protocol, and probably even more do not like the results. I have tried to keep an open mind and use the info from the tests as just another component of trying to select the best helmet. I have not had a chance to see the new CCM Tacks 710 or the 310 yet. Employees at our LHS are talking up the 710 in a big way, including saying that CCM believes these helmets will score better than the new Bauer Re-Akt 200 in the VA Tech testing. Does anyone know if VA Tech will be testing these new CCM helmets?

Next time he might remember to keep his head up and skate around the poke check.

Stopped rookie league superhero on a breakaway by skating out for a hard diving poke check. Guy went flying into the corner. Skates over to me after the whistle "THAT WAS CHEAP BRO". I laughed, "is the puck in the net?" Our team is half filled with guys who just learned to skate, and their team has 5-6 guys who should be in D4 (two divisions up). It's a bit ridiculous.

Howdy, One of the upsides of being a programmer that works from home is that later games aren't an issue. Heck, if anything my gripe is the opposite... Its a lot worse for me to have to leave my family and go play at 7pm. For later games, they all head to bed and I head out to hockey! :-) Mark

That's the way to do it: find a pattern you like, load up, and stick with it.
