At least it’s an increase instead of a decrease, so those who don’t understand why it was done will just find it to be a nice surprise -
Starting in Goal as an Adult - 2020 Canadian Edition

NME8 is the mask I use. It's pretty much the lowest end mask you can buy thats made of fiberglass and not plastic. As for the blocker, you can get them re-palmed. The glove, sorry I have no idea on break angles. I've never used CCM gear before. What about leg pads? Do you have any yet? -
Still not as bad as the Colorado jerseys...

Jesus Christ this thread needs to die. One person not being able to read simple English is starting to add up to multiple pages of junk that benefits nobody. -

Thank you! -
They have the same thing at the pumps in the town my wife works in, but the median home value there is ~4M and that's only because there are "small" homes around the perimeter of the town dragging the average down. Most of the time it's not necessary, but just like my wife's car says right on the gas cap "91+ octane only" while I'm sure the 87 would be just fine, for a couple extra bucks you might as well. I'm sure guys driving $250k cars don't really care about the premium they're paying.

This is easily one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen said on this website, and ho boy have we seen some silly things over the years. And with that, it’s time to move on. We generally avoid spreading misinformation here. Misinformation that somehow manages to bring politics into it? Definitely a no-go. Move on, people. Don’t feed trolls. -

I mean it’s simple math... if you use an above average number of passes per skate then you will get a below average number of passes per ring. So saying it’s a fact that the ring only gets 25 pairs is nonsense. You might have only gotten that but I’m not sure how you connect the lines between you doing more passes than normal and the ring only making it to 60 pairs in perfect conditions. How would you know unless you were doing the average? So, bottom line here is that the average is 60 pairs. There’s no caveat to that. If half the people get 25 and half the people get 95 then guess what the average of that is? #3rdgrademaths If this is really going to continue to be a problem for you maybe you should just get it over with and sue them. Well all be waiting to see how that goes. -

How do you figure it’s not an average? -

It seems silly to complain about not reaching average ring life when doing above average numbers of passes. -
Skate replacement for Easton Mako
IPv6Freely replied to Ghostrider17's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
Yeah, they’re worth it. Remember the feeling you got the first time you skated in makos? It felt like FINALLY something felt right? You’ll get that feeling all over again, at least I did. -
Doesn’t work here either. What image hosting provider did you use?

Yep absolutely agree. How many goalies in the NHL are still using leather straps? That's Lefebvre's audience right there.

BTW for those talking about the cross grind rings, they did sent out an addendum to the manual and also printed new manuals for future shipments. They also sent out free filters to existing customers. I have no problem with the lack of a cross grind ring. For the once every couple years I might find the desire to cross grind, I can hit up the LHS. Just like I cant profile, I also cant cross grind. Really not a big deal. -

Not different, but that doesn't mean it's NFC, either. All good. I just wanted to clarify because the sudden usage of "NFC" in the thread. -
I’m not a huge fan. It almost feels like Lefebvre’s designs were the entire reason CCM was so far behind the curve on goalie gear. Even Vaughn had surpassed them in tech innovation and they tend to be as “classic” as they come. That said, I almost wonder if CCM will actually be stepping up their innovation game, now.

VH Footwear/TRUE by Scott Van Horne
IPv6Freely replied to dsjunior1388's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
There should be no reason to use custom superfeet since the boot is shaped to your foot. As far as the narrow and low volume feet thing, the skate should be shaped to your foot. If it's not, you should be talking to your retailer. -

No need to search the thread, I've been following it since day one. That's why I was wondering why the sudden talk of NFC. As for PS vs ES, that's easy. It's all in the coding of the chip, regardless of protocol. -

Have we confirmed that it’s NFC and not RFID? I haven’t had a real reason to actually look at it for obvious reasons. -
That’s unbelievably dumb.
