I never understood why they didn't make the goal crease a semi-circle again after they dumped the stupid foot-in-crease rule. They cut off the sides of the circle so you wouldn't have goals waived off because somebody was standing beside the net, but never put it back. Always seemed odd to me.

Goaltending basics resources

Some good info in the OG "starting goalie as an adult" thread here: Some of it is going to be outdated now (leather straps and skate cowlings are dead). Maria Mountain is a good resource for everything related to the body - stretching, warmups, etc. https://www.youtube.com/@goalietraining There was also a DVD series I bought when I first started. Its a bit old but still covers fundamentals pretty well. I ripped it because I dont have a DVD player: Finally, I'd HIGHLY recommend using a gopro behind the net. If you're not gonna have a coach, it will help you be able to see what you do wrong, mistakes, angles being off, etc. -
That should work fine. I think this one is pretty close to what you often see on some pants https://www.bluemoonfabrics.com/products/ribbed-spandex?variant=36438311862426¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1

I think being cut proof is the point.

CCM Super Tacks X Total Custom helmet

I love it in concept, but holy good god is that ever an ugly mask. -
I wouldn't wear a padded neckguard, and certainly not one of the pointless rings we all wore in the 80s, but some cut resistance built into the shirt? Sure, why not.

Sparx Skate Sharpener - At home sharpener
IPv6Freely replied to tamtamg's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
They have an airline specific travel case available for the gen2 and gen3. I'm not sure about the gen1. Its travel case was a pelican though so maybe it would be okay? Probably worth asking them -

haha its a pretty distinct sound, thats for sure. I still use mine when the post damage is beyond what a normal sharpening will be able to fix. -

That's correct. The initial response was to send out free filters to all customers. Two months later they discontinued the crossgrind rings. -

Sparx Skate Sharpener - At home sharpener

Not really. I've seen multiple people suggesting they wanted sparx to be able to profile. -

Theres just no real good reason for it to do profiling. Who are these people who are profiling their skates every week that need a consumer appliance that does it for them?
