  1. I mean same except for that detail.
  2. Can anyone confirm if the True holders for goalie and player skates are indeed the same (other than the cutout at the toe end for the toe ties)?
  3. I’ve used both and no. The Mako bump issue (abrasion) was actually solved with the Mako II anyway.
  4. Black or white tongue felt, color, and tongue embroidery. Also do you want the step holder or no holder. That’s about it.
  5. In that case I’m totally with you!
  6. Looks fantastic! Well worth the effort. I’m sure you could polish them easy enough if you wanted to.
  7. Really? Heavy enough to tell a difference? I do not envy those who are bothered by a few dozen grams!
  8. Maybe they bought with the True holder and switched holders after?
  9. I probably wouldn’t bother. The one that comes with it is fine for most people.
  10. Looks like that was a good call :)
  11. That doesn't change how unnecessarily douchey what you're suggesting would be.
  12. That's an important point with VH. You can (and should) be tying your skate significantly less tightly than you're used to. The boot already wraps to your foot - you don't need to tighten it to gain more wrap.
  13. I would suggest not using superfeet. They should not be necessary for a boot built to your foot.
  14. I put another $1000 into it a couple days ago.
  15. Much longer than that! But still, you're right about them likely being swamped. @Buddy what timeline were you quoted?
  16. How is doing more passes on the Sparx different from doing more passes on the Skatepal?
  17. Hopefully! Because they can definitely add that support right into the boot for you.
  18. I'm very glad you're not in our leagues. You would not last. If nothing else, your team would be asking you to not come back.
  19. Did you tell True about the pronation?
  20. Assuming you had True accommodate for your pronation (I hope so, that's kind of the point of custom molded skates) you should stick with the stock insoles as you won't need additional support.
  21. Correct you have to go through a dealer now.
