  1. I would ask for photos, because those photos aren't the PPROC that have been posted before. Here is another pair that show off the V10 I mentioned: https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/pants-girdles-shells/player-pants/8807330-ccm-new-senior-women-s-small-mhpproc-custom-hockey-pants-pro-stock?srsltid=AfmBOorEd-rJCLZeQQ57a8zUjDjmY6L4Afmjsb6jg0GCFDPhXD8fWzcJ
  2. Are you talking about the Perron pants? If so they are based on the V10 model.
  3. I would stand to ask when has Bauer made a choice that has ever been good for consumers? Actually them not releasing 3 stick lines every year was a good move 😂
  4. Lots of pros make awful decisions though and their thoughts shouldn't necessarily matter. Like pro goalies that take a sweet stick to a fresh sharpening job to "finish it off" I'd say Crosby and McDavid are prime examples of "newer gear isn't necessarily better." We've seen Bauer go from full composite outsoles to a mix of plastic and composite outsoles. So sometimes their ideas of upgrades might not really have the positive effect for everyone. If I could go back to an FT1 or earlier stiffness skate I would in a heartbeat.
  5. I've just tilted the skate manually and adjusted that way... but if this is easier it would be a nice to have.
  6. Trying to get my hands on them...
  7. HGTK are straight up the retail pant with a different cover. So that would be an option for people looking for more light weight and less overall protection. But they aren't really lighter than the UCLP... But certainly fit looser.
  8. Yeah, I stuck with the Quad 1 for me. My hollow changes based on the time of year and steel I am using but I didn't deviate off of what I used previously.
  9. It took me 2 skates to stop falling on my face going from a stock to a Quad 1 on backwards transitions. I'd say stick with it and keep seeing if you can adjust to it first.
  10. How many times have you skated in them? Profiles generally don't work instantly and you have to get used to them before it becomes immediately comfortable. You also went with a neutral holder (CCM) to a more aggressive holder in Bauer unless you had the profile made to adjust with that.
  11. Yeah, but none of these logos will persist after the first season? Great cash grab to basically have 2 entirely different lines of merch in 2 years and have all the FOMO people grabbing the UTAH HC stuff.
  12. Pretty sure you can even see the Adidas logo peaking out on these ones haha. So good spot. The material on the thigh area is a lot more "mesh" than the Reebok ones I have. But funny enough I stopped wearing my Reebok ones since they always twisted on me.
  13. Those look really bad... like they'd never stay straight
  14. I am going to ad to this... RVH has become a social media queen. Super easy to get views and engagement on it while also very easy to always call out the flaws of when something goes wrong. When goalies get beat up high while in the butterfly, we don't have clips or analysts saying the butterfly is overused and the wrong play. They acknowledge a mistake was made or the shooter made a great play. Goalies make mistakes, there are certainly mistakes being made with the RVH and goalies are coming off their post too much. But hockey is extremely quick and decisions have to be made fast, sometimes a mistake is made and it is easier to blame the goalie on a save selection than why a player had 3 seconds of free time at the bottom of the circle. These analysts and accounts are also not showing all of the saves the RVH IS making. Whether it be a controlled rebound, or better coverage to the slot. You only get the lowlights. RVH is an excellent save selection and play, it has a time and a place but right now it has all eyes on it for easy content and it is REALLY easy to blame.
  15. There are some weird sticks out there that have the Novium taper and T8 code on them. So it isn't as straight forward as it seems right now.
  16. As someone that loved the softness of the FT1 skate (which was a lot softer than the new Jetspeed), I have the AS-V Pro and you do notice the boot being stiff and not really flexing with your foot. But I've gotten used to it and adjusted a bit and don't have problems with skating with it anymore. I am pretty flexible with the gear I use though... but they are the best skates I have worn.
  17. Jesus man... best of luck to you
  18. Yeah, those are based on the Element ones. I did a video on them here where I talk about the fit: Those will fit a bit different though because they don't have the Viconic liner, but it should still be close.
  19. Which Rekker gloves? I have the Elements and they fit true to size. The Code are more of the "tapered" fit like Vapor and fit looser, but I tried on @StewieTMP Pros and they were true to size for length as well, just fit more loose than the Rekker do on the backhand.
  20. But the blade is on basically the opposite end of the spectrum compared to the Sync, which has one of the most dampened and softest blades on the market so not sure how puck feel can be similar between it and the Sync.
  21. I have worn a bunch of True skates in the past, and these ones have been my favourite so far and by far the best for durability. Very impressed with these once I dialed in the fit.
  22. Warrior says the DX and LX2 is the same kick point... but LX2 Pro feels like a complete hybrid. LX Pro will be the same as DX and plays more like a low. Novium is a full mid (or what Bauer calls a high kick).
  23. Where did you buy the skates and how long have you had them? If you plan on keeping these for a long time, why not bite the bullet and get into a proper fitted skate so it will save you issues down the line and the problem will be done and dealt with. But keep in mind, you also probably still have to go even smaller than you are thinking. There is no way you should be able to fit double socks in your skates and not have issues. If I did that my feet would go numb from the pressure.
  24. I've noticed recent Bauer skates fitting longer than their older models with their new Fit system. But I can move my Speedplates in my skates with my fingers, they slide around a bit. But once I actually have them in my skate with my foot they don't move at all.
  25. The only time we didn't have to trim Superfeet length was with EXTREMELY skinny feet. You fit Superfeet based on the heel cup fit and not the length. Since this employee also put you in these skates that are too big for you already, I am not going to trust their sizing for the Superfeet as well. Vet has already given a bunch of solid suggestions on what you can do to mitigate this issue, but there is a VERY solid chance that the fit of these skates is what is causing the issue first and foremost.
