    I'm really interested to see how this one pans out. Yes, PK is younger and flashier than Weber, but with that comes more mistakes and errors in judgement. It will be curious to see what this deal looks like in 5 years.

    So Nashville has accepted the inevitable and acquired a pick from Buffalo for his rights. Vesey's agent says he still plans to be a free agent come August 15th so apparently his agent doesn't believe he will settle on the Sabres. With Vesey and Eichel having the same representation and once again playing summer hockey together there is a possibility that could change.

    Nobody was saying it was Bickell's fault. Bad contracts are usually hung on the team and certain agents who for some reason GMs always cave to.

    Check around to see if there are any girls programs in your area or the like who might run annual skate swaps.

    Refs with an itchy trigger finger are just as bad for a league as refs who swallow their whistles. Both create frustration in players which can lead to very problematic situations.

    One source of that low AR number is a low sales number. AR alone doesn't tell quite the same story as Days in AR.

    It probably has to do with how often folks are swapping the steel out. I've only removed mine maybe twice the whole time that I've had them. Since my preferred sharpeners are all local, I don't need to be shipping alternate sets and rotating steel in and out frequently. I considered hunting down some Custom + holders/steel when I made the swap on my RS skates but decided against it since it would be even harder to find replacement steel going forward.

    Sounds like some employee's parking reimbursement might be a little light and late.

    If it makes you feel any better, I haven't had any issues with the blades being loose in the Edge holders I put on my Easton RS skates a couple of years ago.

    As I recall, there is also very little rocker on the Shanahan compared to the PM9.

    Ah, now I get it. I didn't realize that it was just specific blades that were standard. The pattern I'd be interested in is the BM12 (Iginla).

    Got it. Were you able to find out if the standard blades were long or short hoseled?

    Any update on when the site will be fully updated to order from the new product lines?

    Of course, True will only have about 5% of a store right now. They are just starting to expand beyond sticks. That said, the sticks have taken off well in this area. Several teammates now sport some version of a True stick (it didn't hurt that I was a LTR tester and they got an introduction to the brand in the room and were impressed enough to give them a go).
