    I got in way too late on Bitcoin but still have seen a nice uptick. That being said I got in early on Ethereum and that has played out nicely. I am no expert in any of this but from what I've read (and kinda understand) I think Ethereum will have better applications of its blockchain tech down the road versus bitcoin. Either way its been a pretty fun ride.

    Hey @Skate Mod I read you’re manifesto, I mean website...gotta say some real great info, other stuff, a little head scratching. I need to give it another tons of info! I’m with @oldtrainerguy28 and am kind of curious of your background here. Biomechanics phd? Former R&D at one of the big companies? Pro skate rep? My post count or 23 second of a men’s league shift where I can actually skate halfway decent don’t make me an expert, but I’m of a mindset where I’ll trust someone based on their background, etc. I’ve been around the block a little and your site is fascinating, but I’ve never seen anyone skating with a ‘H’ notched out of their boot. That said, I’m curious to know more and hear some more info from you.

    Could just be me and the way I shoot or maybe a bad batch or something. The blade to me just doesn't feel crisp is the best way to explain it, not as responsive as other sticks I use.

    I would've like to have seen an update to the Dynasty girdle. I love mine but the kidney padding area is coming apart, the material used there is just too thin and the pointed plastic inserts rip through. I don't mind taking out the old needle and thread but with all of the updated materials on gloves & pants I would love to see some more durable materials used. I'll also chime in and say I'm not a fan of the Alpha so far, the blade just feels too soft for me. The kick of the shaft is pretty decent but the torque I put on the blade when shooting just feels like I am using a worn out blade. Also is this the year we stop seeing Tapered shafts?

    +1 for pat at custom pro repair. might just wanna ask a local spot that does athletic embroidery or something along those lines. Ive also seen recently gear from the Kings where they used heatpress stickers to put on player names/numbers to gloves.

    Lost in the finals this past weekend at a tourney. 5 games in 3 days and my surgically repaired neck is fine, my liver on the other hand could use a few days off.

    Surgery to remove 3 herniated discs out of my cervical spine and a titanium plate screwed to my neck later and I'm back on the ice. Lost in the finals but feeling great after 5 games in 3 days!

    Had an awesome week of picking up pro stock gear. Was able to help some friends pick up stuff up and also got some great stuff for myself.

    The Marsblade inline chassis is for 'training' not in game use. But speaking of inline, despite this new holder sounding intriguing I am always skeptical of moving parts being associated with a chassis or holder. I've been around long enough to see the quikchange or whatever it was called where you could swap holders from ice to inline, the rocker chassis, mission vibe chassis, & sprung chassis. All sounded good in theory but with the moving pieces it was only a time before something went wrong or broke.

    It looks like a 2 piece holder if you will, the top part stays in place and then the bottom portion that connects to it has a sort of spring/cushion that moves with you during your stride, turns, etc.

    On the topic of home fix up or flipping shows they are not to be watched if you're trying to by a house in the greater boston area. With that being said looks like the fam is making a move and dipping our toe into the world of home ownership. Lets just hope this doesn't result in numerous posts in the venting spot thread.
