Montreal bagels put NY bagels to shame. And Toronto's too for that matter. :P

NY Jews > Any other place's Jews, unless they're packing Uzis.

you say bagels, i think NY, not Canada.

pirogies are indeed straight up polish

and Mello Yello can be found in the south eastern united states.

Perogies are Ukrainian/Russian.

clamato is canadian?

Clamato itself isn't Canadian, however add vodka and you have a Bloody Caesar- the "definitive" Canadian mixed drink.

You're forgetting Worcestershire, tobasco, and a drop of lemon juice. Don't think its possible to find a better drink.

Yep, was corrected in Toronto my first time when I wanted a Bloody Mary. Caesars are much better. :)

First time I was in Vegas I ordered a 'Caesar' from the watiress in the Bellagio sports book...and she brought me a salad. I wasn't impressed.

They don't hire cocktail waitresses for their brains.

I mean, 7 guys, we are all drinking...everybody orders just drinks, and for some reason she thinks I'm just going to go off the reservation and come at her with a SALAD order? In a SPORTSBOOK?

The bagels in NYC are just like chewing on a giant wad of cotton. The bagels from St. Viateur have a great balance of texture and flavour from the honey water and the wood-burning oven.

And Montreal Jews? Schwartz's deli beats Katz's deli any day of the week. And I wouldn't put it past any of these guys that they're packing heat. With the service you get at Ben's, you never know.

Gravy and cheese fries? That's all it is?

Ya can't understand, it's like a magic recipe. You're like, WTF, are those the ingredients? It all makes sense when they come together : :P

How about bagged milk?

You'll never see that in the States and I doubt it's in Mexico.

Although only small parts of Canada have bagged milk.

I suppose it could be good. I love gravy fries, and I love cheese fries, but never had them together. It's a worthy kitchen experiment for the weekend I suppose. Should also throw out that salty fries dipepd in vanilla ice cream is excellent, though I suppose that's more American than Canadian? Still delicious.

Pountine, an actual good piece of steak.

For drinks.... nobody has said rye yet? Surprised. Though I did not know that a Caesar is a Canadian drink

I was probably 13-14 (obv. not drinking yet). My Dad had some friends over, and asked me to bring the bottle of rye out to him. I went to the cabinet and couldn't find it...went out to the deck and said, "All you have here is whiskey!" They laughed at me.
