doubt this game will be hard to come by, but we did have a problem with some here. Mostly the big names most recently BF: Bad Company and COD4. but i cant wait for this game.

idk if any one has posted this in here but nhl09 should give you a feature when creating a player to spay paint your stick. When selecting it you can choose full, half, or 1/4.

Maybe it will happen??

One version, not sure if it was 2006 or 2007 (maybe both) that gave an option for tinted visors (yellow, gray and blue)...so what not painted shafts.

In 08 you could select a yellow visor

and in nhl 08 on the pc you could select visor color like red blue yellow green etc

the version is nhl2006

Also 09 needs to make the curved visor look better.

It looked to big for the helmet.

So to do a stick check its X,X,Y,Y,Down, Down, select? This game is getting really complicated.

Game looks pretty good though. Movement still looks choppy and unrealisitc.

Not at all. Like the video says, I think you'll use the right analog to poke check, tie up or lift the stick.

How? You move an analog stick in different, mostly intuitive directions and press one button to pass. Throw in the saucer pass and vision control feature and we're at 3 buttons.

One stick for skating, one for the stick and three buttons. Unless you play constantly, it's a chore to just pick up and play a game. They have all but lost the casual gamer over the last few years as they have attempted to appease the power gamers.

I guess it's easier for some but likewise that's why they're bringing back the NHL 94 controls so one stick for skating and two buttons for everything else.

What a second I see Jagr in there what the hell is that?

I hope you're joking. The game's been in development for quite a few months and you're concerned that they've still got a guy who left less than a week ago on the roster?

I switch my controls to "classic" mode which others can do as well.

if you dont know the controls that well like i did when i first got nhl08, go to practice mode and fool around with it learn to skate, stickhandle, pass, etc. easiest way to learn

i actually like the controls. i dont play that much but i like the feel of the controls. i had 2k7 but couldnt get used to the difference and just stuck with ea, seemed easier to me.

And you will have an unfair advantage, one extra implant ;)

09 looks to be promising...I like the legend mode where you can start in the AHL and work your way up...I have enjoyed EA sports games for years, even though I only play here and there anymore, they still seem to be getting better and better...
