Just watched the latest pens practice on their site and noticed Malkin had the bright yellow warrior lining in his pants, so just checked the latest game gallery vs the Canucks and it appears he is wearing them for games too. It would make sense I guess for warrior to make a push to try and get as many pros using the pants also as they are visual pieces of equipment like Gloves and sticks.

The picture was discussed earlier...like when the pictured was posted. Its pretty common for a two-piece pant to have two different companies.

Interesting to hear Bauer isn't pushing pants at all at the pro level. Is their pant that unpreferred, or is it lacking in some way? I guess I never noticed they weren't represented in pants.

They pulled out at the right time a few years back - Easton has a strong presence at pro and Reebok was coming out with the EDGE system and rumors were swirling that pants would be part of the "uniform" hence everyone in the league would have to wear Reebok, so they chose to pull out of the category.

Their pant isn't exactly not preferred, it's different so it has it's place. Its the most minimalistic(smaller thigh pad and thinner hip pad) pro pant available, incredibly mobile. I'm surprised it's not more commonly used.
