freestyla 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2009 #1. got 7 stitches on the side of my temple when I was checking out some chick's rack on the stairwell in '91. I was going up she was going down and I was leaning over the railing and walking at the same time. #2 Got a concussion when a 3ft double hung window fell on top of my head (think hammer and nail). We had taken out the locks so we could go out on the hospital roof during a spring snowstorm. That is truly classic.I just started hockey so no injuries so far, luckily. *knock on wood*
starsfan71 9 Report post Posted July 31, 2009 Although it wasn't me I can't help but put this one here. My friend has a very low roofed one story house his pool was above ground. He thinks well it's like a 3 foot drop to the pool jumps off the roof breaks both his legs out for the season.I got drunk (Was in Europe it was legal to drink at 16) tried to headbutt a bush and I ended up headbutting a wall. First time I had ever been drunk it was 2 weeks ago I will not get drunk for a long long time.I guess I will throw this one in here. So about oh i would say 7 months or so ago I got payed to tell a girl that went to our school she had a nice rack before one of the games. Being the guy that never backs down from a bet and she was a really good friend of mine I said what the hell. 30 seconds later I was on the floor holding my crotch. I missed the first 4 minutes of the game. God she had a good punch to go with that rack ;)

NZblackice 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2009 Car accident last year, I was sitting in the passenger seat when the car hit a curb and as I put my arms in front of my face to brce myself my arm went through the closed window and hit a metal barrier on the side of an overbridge. Snapped my ulna and severly dislocated my radius. Ulna was poking through my skin and the radius was visible as well. Best part was the season was starting the week after and I had already made the team a few days previous lol. Plates and screws aren't fun.
Steve_v3 289 Report post Posted August 4, 2009 1. When I was a teenager I was riding my bike down a main road down a very big hill. Trying to see how fast I could go, I crouched as low as I could by putting my feet on the back of the frame near the rear wheel and my stomach on the seat. Hit a patch of dirt, hit the curb, and fell. I skidded down the road and managed to scrape both my palms, forearms, stomach, chest, thighs, and knees. 2. A week before graduating high school while mowing my lawn a little rock or piece of metal shot out of the lawnmower and went right through my calf. After it happened I went to walk in my house and when I could move my foot up & down I looked down and saw blood coming out the back of my leg as well as the front. Just missed my shin bone.3. At work using a paper cutter I was trimming some books. I was using the clamp and almost crushed both my thumbs under the clamp. I bruised them good though. starsfan71 9 Report post Posted August 4, 2009 I can somewhat relate with number 2. Mine probably wasn't nearly as bad a rock caught me in the chin after it flew out of the mower. I was really lucky it didn't hit me in the eye
SidCaeser 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 It was the summer before 8th grade & my buddy had a moped with a busted peddle. The right peddle was just the bar that the peddle spins on. I was giving his fat sister a ride, and she leaned to one side to say something, and the whole thing went down in a heap. The bar went in the back of my calf and out the front of my shin glancing off the bone. She managed to pick the moped up, and I watched the bar come out. The blood poured out and collected in my new pair of shoes.

JoeyJ0506 192 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 I've destroyed both my ankles playing volleyball. I used to play in a, church league." we'd play against this one group of older gentlemen from another church, and if you in anyway showed them up they'd resort to pretty underhanded tactics. For whatever reason I had a great night at the net, and anything they went to spike I was able to block down. After awhile my team just couldn't believe what they were seeing and started whooping every time I'd get another block. From what I'm told apparently one of their guys had enough of the whooping and decided it was his place to end my night of volleyball. He waited until I was going to spike the ball and quickly stepped to the net and placed his foot where I would be landing. Came down squarely on his foot and my ankle just exploded. My trainer at school said it was the worst sprain she'd ever seen. I was on crutches for two weeks, and in a splint/brace for another two months constantly before I had enough strength in it to walk without the extra support. Now my ankle is covered in thick scar-tissue that causes me pain on a daily basis. exactly a year later I did the exact same thing to the other ankle, same recovery and recovery time. I now wear huge ankle braces playing volleyball to prevent re-doing them, and I still get minor sprains from time to time.
Rocketking 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2009 Got married had 2 kids...nahh.Actually I was goofing around playing soccer with some friends and went to challenge another guy for the ball. We were on opposite sides of the ball and went to kick it at the same time, broke my foot.Doc told me that because of where the fracture was it didn't make any sense to put it in a cast - so I was on the ice at my next game. May not have missed a game, but I sure as hell was remeinded of that stupid soccer game for the whole season cuz it took about a year for the pain to completely go away. Neal 41 Report post Posted August 10, 2009 Not to me and not even to a teammate, but too unique not to post. I once had a game canceled in a beer league because the opponent's goalie had been drinking and was indelicate in zipping up his pants after a trip to the urinal. Apparently he remove a fair amount of skin and was in no shape to play.
eric42434224 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2009 I was 13 - 14 yrs old or so, and riding the city bus home after hockey practice. I was a freshman in High School, and the girl I really liked (who was still in 8th grade, and she liked me too) was on the bus with her friends. We were flirting, and I was acting really cool....big high-school guy now, hockey player, awesome feathered mullett :)Anyway, the bus stops at my street and I am getting out the back doors. Still looking at the girls, I open the door and step off.....Bam. Right into a Stop Sign. The bus hadnt come to a full stop, and I was too busy flirting. The post hit me square in the forehead, spliting it open, and blood goes everywhere....even on the bus.23 stiches, and the most embarrasing morning at school the next day.
