Gloves got ruined a few mos ago; something in the garage fell on my surplus bag and ate away the backrolls of the glove.

No, I think Chadd is trying to say is your opinion about the shoulder pads is way off base. His use of capital letters was in response to your use of capital letters. If you watch the various videos about the new shoulder pads being introduced by CCM etc you would see the pads are extremely steamlined and very light weight.
