I hope Nike jumps into the bidding.

The Nike Swift jerseys weigh close to nothing. I love those things..

But the players won't wear it. They essentially mutinied to get the loose jerseys back. The other complaints was the fact that the jerseys were moisture-resistant instead of wicking - the sweat has to go somewhere, right? Right into their skates and gloves.

Oh, the whole thing with NYR and the hem...I believe what they did was just undo the hem at the bottom and it ends up straight.

Already in NCAA

I can't imagine Adidas Hockey taking off. It just feels weird. Reebok feels weird enough, but Adidas just feels like a soccer thing.

If you covered up the logo i'll bet all the haters out there couldn't tell the difference. Too much onus being placed on the brand. The jerseys just as good as any Rbk/Ccm jerseys out there.

Like stated, Adidas loves stripes on their jerseys.

And the stripes never existed on jerseys prior to Adidas? And if Adidas is paying the league a fee to be the jersey provider, why shouldn't they "brand" the jersey in some fashion with 3 stripes?

Any body notice Nick Foligno from the sense using a retail Bauer Total One stick tonight? As they zoomed into him on the bench near the end of the third, you could clearly read Pro Flex 102- P92 Backstrom.

Brown's are just regular TO, but I've been meaning to ask as someone here might know...Brown, Ryder, and Horton all have blacked out TO's...does Bauer make them specially at their request or are they doing it themselves once they receive the skates? Last season for example Brown just sharpied or spraypainted over the gold highlight on the back of the skate and the rest of the boot looked like a normal TO, but this season they are completely black with out the normal detailing on them.

In case anyone else was wondering if he blacks them out or not: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NHL-Game-Used-Pro-Stock-Ice-Hockey-Skates-LA-KINGS-BAUER-TOTAL-ONE-SUPREME-BROWN-/261001632904?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc4e8dc88#ht_500wt_1413

Clearly sharpied.

Corey Potter also uses a retail stick, what's going on?

Some guys are low maintenance and a lot of the younger guys in the NHL grew up with composite retail patterns. I guess someone needs to tell him that pro stock sticks are better than retail.

Blasphemy! Unless of course we're talking Jofa. Jofa > Pro Stock > Retail.

Wait... If I get one of his sticks wouldn't that make it pro stock? We may have a problem here....

The elusive "pro stock retail" stick.

2 cracked helmets on 2 devastating impacts on 2 unsuspecting players who walk away more or less unscathed. Warrior and Easton should both be happy. Glad Zetterberg and McDonald are okay.

Well..Adidas does NBA..the only items that really have their 3 stripes..are the warmups/practice gear. The actual game jerseys (worn in game..not the replicas) have litte to no/if any Adidas logos on them.

Example.

Warmups.
