eBay idiot, or not?

Why are 3 people watching those????

Sometimes I watch things just to see if if people actually buy them. Probably gets the seller excited thinking I might bid though!

Would have been better if it was Superliminal

Fantastic. They can brain wash you to be a better hockey player!! Is that how they created Crosby and Toews?

Not sure how and why these were priced so low, but as soon as I saw it, I bought them for my son. Brand new Easton HSX Jr pants for $59.99 and the weird thing was it came with a tag from Easton stating the following:

SUPPLIER: EASTON SPORTS

CATEGORY: HOCKEY PANTS

DRS ITEM: A139358

DESCRIPTION: SYNERGY HSX JR

WHOLESALE -$US $82

BOOKIN -$US $72.15

NET -$US $

REPEAT -$US $74.80

GM% -$US 40%

MSRP -$US $119.99

WHOLESALE -$CDN $95.25

BOOKIN -$CDN $83.75

NET -$CDN $

REPEAT -$CDN $87.75

GM% -$CDN 40%

MSRP -$CDN $139.99

Not exactly sure what all these numbers mean, but I'm assuming I purchased the pants for less than cost.

Searching around ebay to see how much skates were selling for when I saw this listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Men-039-s-Bauer-Supreme-1-7-Hockey-Skates-Size-7-5-/181525509477?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=Lmtj0mljZlavxlnku5QXbkWqfO0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

They are listed as 7.5, but when I looked at the size in the picture, you can clearly see its a 6 (or maybe an 8), so I sent him this message:

Pretty sire that either looks like a six or eight where the size is shown -
NOT 7.5. Might wanna change that before you have to deal with a return/bad
feedback.

his response:

You are looking at a style number. The size is on an inside label. The size
is as listed 7.5

me:

no im looking at the tag on the tounge that indicates SIZE. The skates are
one.7's (which are named with the word not the number). The size tag on
the skate in that picture definitely isnt a 7.5. I wont be buying since
its not my size, but you are gonna have an unhappy buyer on your hands.

him:

No. That is not the size. The size is US 7.5. That is just a decorative
number on the side of the tag.

me:

dude, are you joking? Decorative number???

Thats where the size is on
Bauer skates. Its been like that for as long as I remember. Go look it up
if you don't believe me. Where are you seeing 7.5?

him:

I am looking where every other shoe/skate boot has their sizing
information. Inside the tongue of the skate. I am looking right at US 7.5.
Please stop writing me. It is harassing. I know how to read a skate label.

me:

Jesus christ. Often skate companies in small font put the equivalent SHOE
size on the inside - which is 1.5 sizes more than the actual SKATE size.
So in your case - you are selling a size 6.0D (assuming that its standard
width), which it why is says that on the tongue... There is no
"decorative" number, that is the actual skate size. Should have maybe done
some research (or learn to take good advice) before putting up your
listing, because unless the person buying them also doesn't understand how
skate sizing works - you can expect a return. Good luck with paying for
shipping twice and then having to resell...

him:

Please stop harassing me or I will contact ebay. The buyer understands shoe
vs. Skate size. By the way, learn how to spell tongue.

me:

Please do contact ebay - that way it'll be easier for them to resolve the
dispute your going to have when this person gets a fucking size 6 skate in
the mail. This is not harassment - I'm simply pointing out that your
listing is incorrect, and whoever won it is about to have to go through the
bullshit of having to mail back skates because they are the wrong size.
Take a picture of that TONGUE then and send it to them. Im sure they do
understand about skate size vs. shoe size. You, sir, do not.

People
like you make ebay suck for the non-retards on here.

btw, those are
supreme one.7 - not 1.7. Not that it really matters - but again, if you're
going to sell something at least do the research.

Yea I know I shouldnt care, but I sent it just so some person doesnt get screwed when they get their size 6 skates from ebay. Sorry for the rant.

Classy.

I left him a message about it. I appreciate his effort to take advantage of the better lighting in most bathrooms. ;)

This is what happens when you try to ebay and snapchat at the same time :)
