Westside 232 Report post Posted July 2 (edited) Figured this would be timely with prospect camps starting up. New Utah team wearing the new Fanatics style practice jerseys and new team colored Jetspeed gloves Edited July 3 by Westside

Westside 232 Report post Posted July 3 Funny, I originally had a comment about the socks, but in another photo they looked like they were following the same template as Reebok/adidas so I removed it
Hills 712 Report post Posted July 3 Pretty sure you can even see the Adidas logo peaking out on these ones haha. So good spot. The material on the thigh area is a lot more "mesh" than the Reebok ones I have. But funny enough I stopped wearing my Reebok ones since they always twisted on me. Westside 232 Report post Posted July 3 That's what I thought too. Seemed like the upside down U-shaped knee area stood out more on the initial photo and the mesh more pronounced. I didn't remember CCM/Reebok/Adidas socks looking like that when I wore them, but like you, I haven't worn them in a while
start_today 770 Report post Posted July 4 Every logo and design that Utah has produced would be underwhelming and uninspired for a beer league team, let alone a franchise that cost a billion dollars.
Hills 712 Report post Posted July 4 Yeah, but none of these logos will persist after the first season? Great cash grab to basically have 2 entirely different lines of merch in 2 years and have all the FOMO people grabbing the UTAH HC stuff.

swede 49 Report post Posted August 2 Wow!! I really hope that TPS will resurrect! I really miss their sticks. The R8 was my favourite. Here in Europe we had it in #61 curve at retail which were a bit different from the regular Nash curve. My favourite curve along with Warriors Vanek/Weight curve.. Westside 232 Report post Posted August 3 Surprised they did a full heel seam with the new Cat line (presumably for durability), but not with these. Just what appears to be a bit of added something on the lower part. So in 5 years they’ll have had shift holders, shift max holders, and now these holders? malcb33 97 Report post Posted August 4 Thank you! I’m looking forward to giving them a shot. Anyone tried them already? Any thoughts on them?
Monty22 833 Report post Posted August 4 I'd be concerned about durability- seems like they would be prone to ripping .

malcb33 97 Report post Posted August 4 Nice! How to the feel compared to a felt tongue? How thick are they?

I personally never liked the felt tongues, they just seemed to break down too quickly for me. I've been using the catalyst pro tongues for the last couple years and never had any problems with them. Switching to the 3D printed tongue made the boot feel better. It's a little thicker than the catalyst pro's I've been using. Lots of air flow while skating, boots dry a little quicker and they have a nice flex when skating.

I have always hated felt, so when CCM released the FT6 Pro, I was a huge fan of the newer tongue design. The new TRUE tongue takes that to an even higher level.
