As some of you know, my wife is battling breast cancer. She decided that she wanted to play hockey a couple of months ago and has been playing since last month. She wanted a pink stick, and so the fine gentlemen at Warrior did these up for her. Thanks to Keith and Doug!

Finally got my hands on a pair of these in my size!! Going to put roller chassis on them. I’m not picky since it will just be recreational (not playing roller hockey) but we’ll see. Being used to goalie skates at this point I don’t think something like marsblades will benefit me very much because I’m already accustomed to skating with a flat profile.

You know you're doing something right when your product makes it to the Show. I'll have one myself some time during the off-season.

You probably don’t want superfeet. The boots are built to your foot shape so an insole that provides its own shape can be counter-productive. Of course there are always exceptions. I would suggest removing the red insole if you are going to try superfeet.

Falcon Heavy launch was one of the greatest 30 minutes I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely incredible.

It should never be about who can skate circles around who. Don't chirp in a friendly skate, period. Hockey is a niche sport, the more people that play it the better, regardless of skill level. I wonder if it would be more popular if people didn't fear the barrier to entry that is being ridiculed by the insecure who think they are better than they actually are.

I thought about that point, but I'm not so sure about that. I am sure there are plenty of players that feel comfortable with a certain person doing their skates, and would not be too happy with the idea of "that guy" not having done their skates for them. There are guys that don't care about their gear specifics, but there are also players on that team that are known fanatics about things being the same Every.Single.Time. (See: Crosby, Sidney).

An 11 year old shouldn't be put on an intense workout program.

Howdy, With the guys I play with, mostly the folks that have newer / better equipment don't play as well as the guys sporting the 20 year old stuff. :-) Mark

Had these done a while ago but never had the chance to post. Easton Mako M7 Boots with the Mission Hi-Lo setup. Dropped in some Speedplates too and they are great!

Blimey, you are not far off drawing your pension. BTW I'm impressed with your progress. I started learning to play hockey one year ago when I was 53. One lad I sometimes play with is in his early seventies and has been learning for a couple of years. Sure he doesn't have the speed and agility of youth, but he does well. I doubt someone of our age could ever be a top rank player, but I'm hoping I can turn myself iinto a solid player in a rec team.
