Update: Hot glue gun from the dollar store didn't do jack sh*t. Found the glue I used last time. Amazingly it still came out of the tube even after like 10 years of sitting under my sink. I think it's going to work fine.

You can also try silicon adhesive. JB Weld is one brand.

There are some online tips to use bleach and water. Not sure if there are any metal parts molded into the blade holder that would get ruined by the bleach.

Iirc, custom plus, LS2, and Ls edge have the same mounting pattern within reason. Maybe just update them?

Offer to buy those blue Ls2s that someone posted in the Show It Off thread, and rock the F out of them. Those custom+ are already old, even if they haven’t been used. If it were me, I’d save the time and headache and just buy a newer holder. Even new old-stock LS2s would be better than something that has been sitting for close to 20 years.

Love how the players owe so much money to the owners, and yet expansion fees aren't counted as Hockey Related Revenue so all of the money that came from Vegas and Seattle went straight to the owners pockets while they cry poor over player salaries and that they now need ads on jerseys and helmets. Terrible part on the players' lawyers to not put that into the CBA.

Word. Was there a year that the sensors came stock on the fishbones? I seen to recall the sensor starting on the G90 or something, and the all 80s starting on the beemer. If you swapped the sensors on, then maybe you have some advice for me. I was considering mounting sprungs, but I have no idea how the Kevlar outsole will react and I don't wanna wreck these as I'm not really counting on finding another pair in this lifetime

I have 3 of the same sticks that I rotate. I take 1 and 2 to a skate; then 2 and 3; then 3 and 1; then repeat.

I've noticed this with my older Bauer Vapor APX2, I was still able to get decent shots off, but trying to receive a hard pass was like dropping a puck through a wet bag. As others have stated, I'm sure its just what happens as sticks age. I finally couldn't take it anymore and purchased two CCM JetSpeed FT3 Grip sticks about 2 months ago. The difference has been night in day when receiving hard passes and the likes.

I’m pretty light on sticks, and my blades always go soft before I break sticks. Very few slapshots, I’m not much for slashes and stickwork, and I generally just play soft, haha. I sometimes feel guilty, because the stick is still in working order, but once I can flex the blade with my hand, it goes to that big stick pile that “I’m going to do something with.”
