Second week in a row where I made plans with teammates to show up to a 5:30 AM stick time and nobody else showed up. I guess I’ll be just sleeping in from now on.

Not only would I question the shop for not bothering with an edge checker, but if they were off I'd also question a) if the machine was calibrated (unlikely based on lack of checking the edges) and b) if the edges were even to begin with (less likely to be the problem, but unless it was checked there's no way to know)

Finally got a league game from INSIDE the glass (it just depends on which refs we get). Unfortunately, the battery died with about a minute left, in which I made probably 10 saves to finish the game. For perspective, the second goal you see them score was with just under 2 minutes left.

I agree with the first part 🙂 The second part I have no control over... I don't have the flexibility to have my legs anywhere but behind me. Put it this way, if I lay on my back with knees up and my feet about shoulder width apart, I can't touch my knees together.

If you expect a difference then maybe, but I’d try them without first.

Not sure about local coverage but for national I’ve been considering it as I really like Siegel and mirtle’s writing. Lebrun is also there now too I think. I just don’t read a ton of sports news which is why I’m still on the fence. Pretty much everything I need I can get from TSN.ca

Is this something that could be added to the outside of a True toecap? How permanent is the hold? I’m wondering if this would let me swap my cowlings for some vertexx edge holders. Thoughts?

New pickups: Bauer S190 girdle. Absolutely loved it when I tried it on in the store while I was in Pittsburgh. (It was actually the HP Pro I had tried on but same thing). I’m blown away by the comfort of this thing. It’s also a size Medium. The last pants I bought were an XL. It’s been a while, apparently. Also CCM Tacks 7092 shins. Tried everything on and found these to be the most comfortable. They’re replacing Mako shins that were comfortable but the padding was shot and it actually hurt the top of my shin/bottom of my knee where the plastic would dig in if I fell. Also a generic Sherwood laundry bag.

That sucks man. No words can even begin to describe how horrible it is to lose a best friend. 😞

Absolutely! I keep mine really clean. I know you guys sent out updated manuals and a free filter at one point, which was very much appreciated!

Do you feel that I should stop using my cross-grinding ring, then? Is it a safety hazard to continue using? I've only ever used mine once and that was just when I was switching to a new hollow and figured I'd give my blades a fresh start.
