  1. Why you want the old ones when the new ones are retail and can be found everywhere? ok, now i see they are not retail in NA but retail in Europe.. Why is that? i mean, hockey is much bigger in NA, but still we get the ”new” gear much sooner??
  2. Check out Sportverkstan.com it’s à Swedish hockey repair shop who offer sharpenings by order. They are considered as nr 1 in Sweden, and hired by most SHL teams for customization of gear. also, check out their facebook page, and send them a message if you have any questions.
  3. Oupps! Missed on that one.. You can remove the thread since it’s allready have been discussed 🙂
  4. New bauer prototype! whats your thoughts about this? Durability? Pros? cons?
  5. No, the M7 is not that soft, but still lower cut which provide more ankle movement. One skate i totally forgot is Easton Ultra lite pro SBX. Stiff lower part, and a soft, low cut upper part. A really great skate if your ankles are strong enough!
  6. It’s all personal preference! i’m a heavyweight myself (180cm/108kg/240lbs) but i still prefer skates with a more flexible/lower upper that allow a greater forward flex/ankle flex for better skating mechanichs.. People on this forum complaining about skates being to soft are just gearwhores with weak ankles who cant skate properly 😂 Mike Gartner (in his prime) would still out skate most of todays nhl players in Soft old CCM Tacks skates! my top 3 skates. 1. Graf Supra 707/G7 2. Easton Mako M7 3. Graf Supra 704
  7. If you want to see the new ADV stick up close, with the taper etc.. Add jenni Hiirikoski from Luleå Hockey (sdhl)/Finnish national team on instagram.. She put a shorter clip out yesterday with the new supreme adv stick.
  8. Old jofa design with new look. allmost all europeans use them. Available in most sports stores here in Sweden. Here there are two versions. One with jock only, and one as jock/garter belt combo.. ive used the combo version since the -90s... best/most protective jock ever.
  9. A good diet all year around is essential for performance.. I dont make any changes in my diet during gamedays or practicedays compared to days off other than pre-game supplementation.. 8hrs before practice i take 2 capsules of ”Beet Speed” (beet root powder and nitrate) and 3 grams beta alanine. Both supplements help the Blood vessels to relax which means better oxygen transportation and less lactic acid.. 30min prior practice/game i repeat the process but this time i also add ”High5 Energy Source” sport drink (fast and slow carbs with minerals).. During games/practice i drink water and between periods in games i might down a small package of energy gel with added caffeine and electrolytes..
  10. You guys grew up skating in Bauers right? 🙂 I dont mind the forward pitch at all.. But them i grew up skating in Grafs, so.. This all remind me of when i grew up.. Most of our JR team were skating in Grafs, and only a few were skating in Bauers. Some in supremes, some in Air90's or Air70's.. What all Bauer guys had incommon, was that they were falling backwards, and had to re-profile their runners to a forward pitch..
  11. A deeper knee bend will solve that problem..
  12. Remove the bolts and rinse the bottom of the holder in hot water (heatgun works aswell, but be careful to not melt the plastic) , then -gloves on and pull/wiggle the runner out
  13. Helmet: Reebok 5K Visor: Hejduk MHX Shoulder: Bauer vapor x80 Pants: Reebok 7K 2-piece pant (2010) Elbows: Bauer vapor x80 Gloves: Warrior Bonafide X Shins: Jofa 6070 pro-stock Skates: Easton Z-AIR comp (2004) Stick: Warrior Dynasty original 85flex
  14. Yes, the league is SEL (Swedish elite league) and the Team is Luleå Hockey (my favourite team).. They are sponsored by Bauer (5 SEL teams sponsored by bauer, 7 by RBK/CCM).. Anyone who want to use a stick/skates/gloves from a different brand, has to pay for the stuff themselves..
  15. Cant wait to try on a pair of V10 shins, they look really nice. But i better start stocking up on some HT2/652/552 helmets, now when some idiot at CCM decided to ditch them
  16. Hes from Sweden so they have less available products so they can charge more. not only that, we also have 25% tax put on.. It's a bit cheaper to order from US, but the customs does most likely put on the tax (25%) and customs fees. Then you would end up paying almost the same price as if you ordered inside Sweden..
  17. it's kinda strange. The website i ordered them from, had them pictured with the red plastic around, but my skates had a black plastic edge around the outsole. When i first opened the box, i thought they had sent me XXX's instead of XIX's. I didn't know they were available with the black plastic.. I'm really glad i bought the vapors, they fit perfectly right out of the box. No need to bake them..
  18. ] My new skates. got them for $371 (2499SEK), retail price was $654 (4399SEK)
  19. I promised some members that i would post a pic of my sligthly modifies sholderpads.. So, here you go.. ]My Webpage CCM 652's with sher-wood 5030 shoulder caps.. The best of 2 worlds :D Edit: the caps are not mismounted. My right shoulder are a bit more forward rotated/smaller due to a old injury in the rotator cuff. So it is supposed to be a little off.
  20. Yes there is. Atleast in Europe. Flexlite 20 replaces the 12, and the 18 replaces the 10's.. It's kinda funny that we have different stuff over here..
  21. does anyone know why there are different lines of sticks/shafts/blades depending on where you live? For example, here in Sweden we dont have the One90 or One50 shaft, instead we have a shaft called One60 which has the same color sheme as the One70 stick. Then we have a shaft called Vapor Pro-lite, which i not have seen in the nikebauer catalouge posted on MSH. Then, we dont have the VIII stick or the VII. Instead we got sticks called Vapor Pro-lite and Vapor Streak TI.. Why is this?
  22. A small part of my stuff... Skates Shins Gloves Helmet Blade/shaft combo + shaft The shoulder pad & Girdle are at dry-cleaning..
