We added a dog to our family two weeks ago. It's been an adjustment to say the least. Up at 4:15 this am as he thought it was time to eat.. First week we were up at 2:30 every day, so I'm hoping there's some additional improvement. The lack of sleep is killing me. Forgot my skates last night- had to play in a pair of rentals a size too small. Good times.

I would try removing and repositioning the tongue slightly.

Make sure it lists Toluene as an ingredient. They make a newer "safer" version that doesn't work as well.

You can reglue that using Barge brand adhesive. It's used in shoe manufacturing. Apply to both sides, wait about 20 min, than clamp together for a few minutes. Will work on the whit trim piece as well.

The surface most likely wasn't prepped before painting so the paint hopefully won't adhere very well. CitriStrip may be an option as well.

Is it just on the plastic toe cap area? I've seen a couple of goalie skates painted white. If it's in the plastic try putting some duct tape on the painted area and let it sit for a couple of days before ripping it off. I suspect a good portion of it will come up. Mabe attack the rest with acetone.

I would guess different height options will eventually be available similar to the difference between LS2 /LS 3 etc. to address this.

My impression as well. I was really impressed with the SuperTacks girdle, and actually went with that one.

The "post" portion of the steel looks very long. Steel pouches will need to be made wider . Surprised it's not a tooless design as well. Are they using a skate hook? Does look like a very solid lock up.

My 40 and over team had a practice last night for an upcoming tournament. A couple of guys brought their kids (PeeWee/Bantam aged) as we were short. I brought my 11 year old son. It was my first time skating with him in an adult full on scrimmage. We had a blast. I told him I waited 11 years for this day and it was worth it. He played great- fearless in the corners and carrying the puck up ice. Had about 10 shots, about half really good scoring chances. So much fun.

I've seen worse out of more "established" brands.. Curious how well it fits/performs.

Nice. Just for that I'm going to get a black frame for it in your honor.

Wife and son ordered this license plate for me for Father's Day. Didn't even know they existed. They get me.

I'm curious to see the injury lists for both teams when they are released. I know O'Riley had a broken rib, and it's been floated that Bergeron had a groin issue. With Pasta I'm assuming there was some underlying injury- He didn't look right since coming back from the thumb injury. it's also possible that he became gunshy with all the physical play, especially in the finals.

I'd like to see Backus in the line up for game 7. They could use his physicality, and moving someone like Heinen out I don't think would make a difference.

When Did You Get Bored With Acquiring New Hockey Gear?
Monty22 replied to beerleaguecaptain's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
If I recall correctly, Hespeler released black and NYR color scheme gloves patterned after Wayne's specs. I believe this was soon after he became involved in the company financially. The retail NYR ones had a white stripe across one of the lower two backrolls. -

The Vapor 10 , and maybe the 8 had the triangular cut outs on the steel, and it had a black finish. That was great quality steel and sharpened really well. The First generation LS2 holders had scalloped cuts on the bottom edge making it really difficult to hand stone. You may be thinking of the Tuuk V2 steel for the Custom + . It was "normal" width for the front 1/2 , and then was about half as thick from the middle to rear of the blade. Jay McKee used that stuff forever. -
Keep the faith brother. All of your internet friends are pulling for you.

Try the "Buy" section of the gear exchange. Show it off is clearly not the correct thread.
