Here's my new Franchise 14"s. I wanted ones to match LAK colors, so they are a little plain. The WARRIOR on the cuff roll is white with a silver outline but it doesn't really show up in the pics. I got the Hossa cuff again but it seems a little smaller than on my previous pair. I'm not complaining though...I like the length.

My new custom Franchises weren't supposed to ship until 12/29 but when I checked the progress link from Warrior, they were completed and the tracking shows they are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. So stoked :)

Well, it's turning into a job so hopefully it will start paying for some of my gear (just got a 5D MK II last week to go along with my 30D). I shoot my first engagement session next weekend and their wedding in October :)

Yeah, I'd be shooting at 2.8 with that 70-200 no matter what, as that's the most wide open it gets.... And yeah, shooting with a prime wasn't easy....I made it a little harder though because I was shooting in manual the whole time just to see if I could do it. Metering was a bitch!

Damn....I didn't think about that. That's one thing that made your mitts so cool looking....that must have sucked to see that they went with that look on every new retail PPF glove.

Well, I did get mine pretty much fully customized...it was before they weren't allowing the custom cuff, etc.

Yikes....mine were $280.00 when all was said and done. <_<

Haha....seriously! There was a LONG waiting period for me from the time I had them made up until the time I was able to skate with them (surgeries). I love them....best skates I have ever used for roller and I cannot say enough good things about the Sprung chassis. They're phenomenal!

That's rough :( What about one of the visor/cage combos? Do they even make those with tinted visors? That would be quite a unique look :lol: Haha....nah, I'm fine with the cage. Way used to it by now.

Nah, childhood accident....5 years old.

Blind in one eye already....the cage is staying on ;)
