  1. Nice paint job, I miss Felix the cat.
  2. I have to add that though I have not skated in them yet, these skates are the most comfortable out-of-the-box skates I have ever tried on... they really do feel great and after baking them, they felt even better. I have had 3 reconstructive foot surgeries due to flat feet/fallen arches and my frankenfeet aren't exactly the easiest feet to impress ;) I will know more after tonight but so far, so good.
  3. I finally got mine baked yesterday and am gonna use them for pickup tonight. Quick question - I cut the enclosed CCM custom insoles down to size and put them in but (to me) they add too much volume to the boot, which is already pretty shallow for me as it is. Is it recommended/encouraged to use the stock insole or is that just there essentially as a placeholder for the CCM custom ones that they come with? I would prefer to use something a little more stable than the stock, but again, volume would be an issue. I was thinking about trying Superfeet but am thinking they would add just as much volume as the CCM custom insoles. Thoughts/advice would be appreciated :)
  4. Haha, yep! I don't play much roller anymore, mainly ice but yeah - never stopped playing. A bunch of my friends from the Panthers still play as well. Glad to see you are doing well!
  5. Stephen, did you play on the PepsiCo Heat back in the 90's? If so, I played against you in KOHO Cup tournaments, haha. I was on the Mission Viejo Panthers.
  6. I broke my fibula playing roller (I no longer play roller due to that incident) a couple years ago, of course it required a plate and 4 screws to fix (my luck, 3 out of my 4 limbs have plates in them now). Recovery was about 6 months with about a month of PT before I decided I could do that stuff at home. One thing that sucked for sure was having to cut a huge chunk out of my tongues in order to be able to fit my now-plated fibula into my boot. And I am gonna get new skates this Christmas and thankfully I live close to Old World Boot Repair/Leon and I know he will be able to work his magic. Good luck!
  7. Skates - Bauer One95 Gloves - Custom Warrior Franchise 14" Sticks - Warrior Dolomite Shaft w/Vanek pattern Helmet - Easton Matte Black E700 size S Pants - Tackla Air 9000 Shoulder Pads - Bauer Vapor 40 Elbow Pads - Warrior Hitman Shin Guards - Jofa 9080 15"
  8. Thanks! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions :)
  9. Here's my new Franchise 14"s. I wanted ones to match LAK colors, so they are a little plain. The WARRIOR on the cuff roll is white with a silver outline but it doesn't really show up in the pics. I got the Hossa cuff again but it seems a little smaller than on my previous pair. I'm not complaining though...I like the length.
  10. My new custom Franchises weren't supposed to ship until 12/29 but when I checked the progress link from Warrior, they were completed and the tracking shows they are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. So stoked :)
  11. I'll always remember him As Bodhi in Point Break. "I know, man....ain't it wild?" R.I.P., Mr. Swayze.
  12. Speed? Try coke.... ;) http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/08/...illy_mays_.html
  13. Veddy interesting..... <_<
  14. I thought Eagle didn't offer the CP line anymore.....?
  15. Nice gear....those skates look great and I love those Bauer 4-rolls. Thank god the old brand is back! EDIT - post #3000! :)
  16. I can top that but I'm not going to......haha.
  17. I think he looks a lot like Patrick O'Sullivan....
  18. That DOES look good...I love it. The blue fades really well into it.....
  19. Dude I just hope we get a warmup. Remember last week? 2 minutes to warm up....what a joke.
  20. I do have a Flickr page, but it's only got 10 or so pics on it....haha. I added some pics a few weeks ago but rarely go on it. And the pics that are on it are before I started shooting in Manual mode, so it's not my best work, that's for sure. http://www.flickr.com/photos/98777983@N00/ How the hell am I gonna take pics when I'm playing in the game too, numbnuts?? Warmups? Do I have to think of everything for you? How the hell am I gonna take pics of you warming up when I'm warming up too, numbnuts??

  22. Well, it's turning into a job so hopefully it will start paying for some of my gear (just got a 5D MK II last week to go along with my 30D). I shoot my first engagement session next weekend and their wedding in October :)
  23. Yeah, I'd be shooting at 2.8 with that 70-200 no matter what, as that's the most wide open it gets.... And yeah, shooting with a prime wasn't easy....I made it a little harder though because I was shooting in manual the whole time just to see if I could do it. Metering was a bitch!
