You're right. If you look closely you can see the blade/shaft connection. Prob just another UL/ST shaft.

It is actually just the S15. It even says S15 on it. I saw him at training camp this year up in Vermont.

Chara started using the S17 at about the middle to end of last season.

I attended an Easton PK session a few months back. The rep said that Chara actually uses an up-speced S17 with a 240 flex.

We have a bunch of Charas only Warrior AK shaft and those things are stiff as hell as well as being about 6 inches or so taller then other shafts. I'm about 220lbs and i could barely flex it

I don't think this has been mentioned, but did anybody notice Spezza with the Reebok stick in Stockholm? Looked like a one piece to me, but could have been a painted woodie. Is he going the way of Crosby and leaving Sherwood? Still had that crazy blade that looks like an inverted butter knife.

Getty images has some clear photos of the stick: images 83092198 and 83129876. It has a nice, low key retro look to it. Kind of the opposite of the Warrior approach to marketing and graphics.

Is Heatley wearing the S17 helmet? It looks like the S17 with the 'mesh' on the vents (the S9 has the 'honeycomb' liner).

Don't know if anybody has covered this but Henrik Zetterberg has been using the new SE Grip and the other night he broke out his new Synergy SE 16 skates...WHITE EDITION. Pretty sweet. Sorry for the pic, it's the best I could find.
