Helmet: CCM Resistance 300 - Snug fit, good for round heads

Cage : Bauer Profile II I2 - Love white inside, easy to see
Shoulder pads: CCM Crazy Strong - Light weight, not very protective
Elbow pads: Bauer Vapor X7.0 - good snug fit, protective
Gloves: CCM CS400 - they run small, but palms last long
Pants: Reebok 18K - Good price, durable
Shin pads: Bauer Supreme 5.0 - Not happy, poor Construction
Skates: Bauer Vapor APX2 - amazing, still look new
Stick: Bauer Vapor APX2 - good feel, durable

I don't see many if any changes to protective for a while but I'm keen to check out the new RBZ/Fitlite gear when its released. I'm still trying lots of twigs at the moment to see what I like. Currently the Bauer 1N is top choice.

After 19 years of being a goalie, hip issues caused me to abandon that position and make the plunge to a forward. That meant selling my goalie gear and heading shopping.

Now before my first ice I've ended up with these:
