Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Got myself a 2 keg system, I upgraded to perlick forward leaning faucets, got a fridge on craigslist, cleaned it. Took the doors off the hinges, sanded them down a bit, put a coat of primer on them, and a couple of coats of chalkboard paint.Drilling the holes through the doors tonight, and attaching the faucets. I will have my own homebrewed beer, on tap after tomorrow. No more bottling for me. The fridge is also big enough to upgrade and install 2 more kegs.I chose the chalkboard paint so I can write above each tap what beer is in the keg as it will change based on what I like to brew.I've got 5 gallons of Irish Red Ale already fermented and sitting in a secondary fermenter waiting to be kegged (on saturday!!!)I'll post a couple of photos when the whole thing is complete.Pretty sweet all round

eric42434224 1 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 (edited) Pancake...Not a huge fan of beer....I do drink and enjoy it occassionally. But if you are, and it sounds like you are...that sounds like a sweet set-up!Speaking of beer....we had a team party for the Cup finals, and the Captain brought over some beer.He is Jewish, and so are his linemates...they call themselves the "Wandering Jews" line.He brought over a couple six packs of "He'Brew....The Chosen Beer" beer.....the flavors were "Genesis Ale" and "Messiah Bold" Edited July 2, 2009 by eric42434224

LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted July 3, 2009 As much as my summer job sucks, the money is pretty damn good (for a kid who just picked-up the job as something new to do for a few months). Hit my numbers (and beyond) last month, which means I'll be taking a $2,000+ bonus check to the bank sometime in the next couple weeks.
