The Ryan curve is Sherwood's version of the Zetterberg

its a lower lie heel curve. the lie is just like a pm9/zetterberg. its essentially a wedge like a drury but starts right at the heel instead of mid-heel and not as aggressively open, but still has an open face.

I was under the impression that the PP96 Bouchard was Sher-Wood's Zetterberg.

You are correct. My fault. I was looking at the incorrect blades at the shop.

Just an update on my T90 SOP/PRO delamination battle:

I'm on my THIRD batch of warranty replacements for my original SOP order from back in November of last year. Two batches of SOPs delaminated, and now these T90s PROs.

This last batch were T90 Pro SCs (Sherwood IQ blade, Canadian shaft). After only about 6 times on the ice, the bottom of the blade splintered open and the entire face of the blade split off. Since these are actually Pro Stock sticks, I'm not sure if Sherwood will replacement them yet again, even if they are clearly defective warranty replacements for defective SOPs. Sherwood assured me they had corrected this problem, but obviously they have some major issue with QC as their IQ blades have catastrophic defects and fail after only limited use.

Anyone else have issues with this?

No problems with the retail on my end, 15 games and no signs of damage at all. Ive said it before, but this has become my go to stick, I've had TotalOne/u+/X60 this year, I would take the T90 over all of them, to me it plays alot like the 0ne95.

Used a friends t90 undercover slim fit and it has great feel for the puck, but has too small of a radius for me but would be great for someone with small hands

Flyerman that is crazy! I've had a few batches of T90 pro tapered blades and no problems at all with any of them.

I have a couple of malcb33 custom blades and the one I've used had a little more chipping of the outer layer of coating on the blade than I'm used to seeing but it still stayed very stiff. Unfortunately, half of the tenon cracked and separated from the hosel. It looked like I had taken a slash right on the point where the shaft and blade met though because I had damage on both in that area.

Long story short: I, too, haven't had that sort of problem with the T90 Pro's.

After 3 batches. Do you think it could be somthing you do to the sticks?

Ha ha, blame the victim!

No....I've never had this chronic delam issue before with any stick blade I've used, and I am not hard on my sticks in the least. I let a friend of mine use one of my brand new SOPs, and the bottom of the that blade delaminated after one use. Like I inferred, Sherwood told me they had problems with this issue, but it had been remedied at the factory. This is why I stayed with the IQ blade as I love the puck feel. They also make the PROs with the TPS blade, which is quite heavy, bulky and rigid.

They denied my "claim" because they said the RMA# was past 15-day. But my originally RMA# was created last November! Sherwood has worked with me up until now, but I have had to wait 6-8 weeks between batches of warranty replacements, all of which were defective. I just want a SWD stick with a blade that will last more than 2-3 weeks. I don't think that's too much to ask.

What's the SWD equivalent of the bauer P92 curve ?

Also can anyone give a little review of the 2011 T90 slim fit? Haven't seen one yet.

A bit afraid of a lower durability.

Does the 4" freeflex zone really work ?

PP26 - Stastny

This is secondhand testimony from customers, but they seem to hold up alright so long as the flex is appropriate - don't expect a 60 flex slimfit to last long if you weigh 180 lbs.

Honestly, I don't see much of a change in the flex when I cut about half-way down that area, but that really isn't taking much off, either. I don't put too much stock in it.

They really need to offer the SlimFit sticks in higher flexes. It's essentially just an intermediate stick currently and doesn't really do a ton to expand their offerings to most of the market.

Thx for the inputs

Intermediate in the way of others brands ? I've heard int have usually lower specs/quality compared to senior models.

Is the standard shaft bigger than a TO ?

My SOPs are shaped a lot like a TO. Maybe a bit thicker feeling but I like it a lot!
