miseaujeu,if you order a custom stick with widow graphics is their anyway you can order it without the power to the player logo? i have seen both with the logo and with out. for example on the first custom stick video their is no logo ,and on warriors facebook their is a custom stick with the logo(has the same graphics as the one in the video). just a little confused hoping you could clear it up for me thanks.

Miseaujeu, is the stick Mikkel Boedker has been using recently a Widow? From pics just see a bold DT on the taper portion that I don't see on some other Widow prostocks I have.

Thanks for sharing your story and I'm glad we were able to help you with your warranty claim. Our warranty department has been working very hard on our return and replacement turn-around of our product and point of service. Glad to see it worked out for you.

fatwabbit and Amiroo39 - Very nice reviews. Thanks.

The turn around time on a warranty replacement was unreal. I sent a Dolomite in which broke after two games in and received a brand new Diablo 5 business days after shipping it out. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by both the quick turn around time and the upgrade to the new stick. By the way I think I like the Diablo as much, if not more than my Pat Dwyer prostock RS.

If you order a custom Widow construction with a Widow decal, you won't have the "Power to the Player" logo. If you order a stick with any of the "custom" decals, the logo will be on there.

I'll have to try to snag one after the playoffs. Whatever it is, it has been working well for him lately.

Yes it has, he switched a couple weeks ago and hasn't gone back to his old stick. Sorry I can't elaborate, I will in the near future.

That's great news. I'll pass along the info to everyone involved in Warranty claim processing. They are really really trying to make this process more streamlined and less painful for our consumer-direct returns in the USA and our dealer-supported returns in Canada. We know how frustrating a stick break can be(it pisses us off more that you know), we want to make sure there's confidence in our process so that's the least of your worry.

Stick durability and testing has been a huge focus for us in the last year and half. My post earlier on the Boedker situation is a glimpse into that hard work by our engineers for our pros that is brought into our retail product. Very exciting.

Thanks for sharing.

ko92sniper!!! I messed up! When you order a Widow graphic on the customizer, IT WILL have the Power to the Player logo. Sorry for the mis-information.

I've been a Bauer and Easton fan for a while but decided to give the widow a try when 3 new pro stocks came up for sale on eBay. I've previously tried retail Dolomites and a Diablo and both had durability issues with the blades cracking after a short while. I was hopeful that pro stock Widows would be a step up in the durability stakes.

First stick: In the middle of the blade, running up the back from the bottom is a large crack. Usage time - one practice and one game.

Second stick: Blade delaminating along the bottom after 8 practices and 3 games (two weeks worth of usage).

Third stick - to scared to use it. Going to hang it on the wall and dream that one day Warrior will build a durable product.

Overall the stick is really nicely balanced and has a great feel with the puck. Alongside my TotalOne and RS, it holds its own and in some ways I prefer it over the RS. It's a stick I could get to really like but until durability issues are sorted out I just can't afford to keep dropping money on an unreliable stick, especially when one lives outside the US / Canada.

I've rotated 3 Custom Widows this past year and played between 50 and 60 games with them and haven't encountered any breakage or durability issues. I also use Dangle Grip blade tape, so the bottom of my blades play directly on the ice. I haven't encountered splitting, cracking or chipping on any of them.

So people's mileage can vary. I have no complaints about my Widows. I wasn't previously a Warrior fan, but the stick feel and balance of these have stopped me from trying other sticks. At least for a while.

I had the same problem with the delaminating with my Diablo. Just got frustrated and asked for a Dynasty.

After something like 10 months my widow finally broke tonight. I didn't baby the stick at all and used it every game since I got it. I swapped to my XN10 with a Warrior Vabek blade for a shift and it seemed heavy and unbalanced in comparison, something I never thought I would ever say about an XN10. I then went to my new Widow that just showed up last week. No delaminating issues at all, even with some skate cuts and chips on the blade.

Sorry to hear about your issues with blade durability on the Dolo and Diablo. There is no guarantees on ProStock because Pro players do so many things to their stick specs for the benefit of performance that durability is usually their #3 or #4 in order of importance on their preference scale.

We are continually looking for the very best combination in the careful balance and pursuit of "faster, lighter, stronger".

Please!!!

Thanks guys.

Our closest right now is the Kovalchuk. We are exploring updates for the customizer all the time, we'll check this out as a possible addition.

Thanks for the feedback.

Glad you guys are open to suggestions, that's awesome. Ending up getting a mako, the only reason being the iginla curve. Would have ordered a custom dolo or widow in a heartbeat if that curve was available. There are so many great options on that customizer it's a no brainer. But for me curve is the most important along with puck feel. It seems like such a popular curve, hopefully it makes its way into your lineup soon. (And, shooting for the stars here I know, maybe different lies?, let's just get the curve first...)

10 skates and the blade snapped in half, got another widow le (non grip in red) under warranty....In other news: anyone watch the nucks kings game 4? Burrows switched from his blue widow to another warrior in the 3rd: no idea what the stick was.

I like logging into MSH, and randomly discovering a beer-league team mate posts here. Especially in north Carolina.

SUP.

told you the RS was unimpressive, compared to the widow (and for you, Diablo).

i just picked up a widow pro stock from the kings, the blade is chipped a little but nothing i couldnt fix.

I will say this, to Miseaujeu

If everyone is complaining about the blade durability, hows this for a good example, the 06-07 pro stock dolomite blades were tanks, durable and never broke if rarely and even the retail ones were great too! Why not go back to that composition? i'm still using my leftover pro replacement ones from back then and no softening on them or anything.

H, maybe you should mention what prostock you are using, that way Miseaujeu can possibly tell what pro model and what spec was used?
