    Yeah he has the sleeves on his actual jersey chopped off and wears these 'socks' instead once you notice it in a picture you can't help but not see it, guessing some 4th liner is missing his sleeves somewhere. That is bonkers, a 12 year old not knowing why Beiber is famous, I'm guessing she was probably too young for him.

    To be honest I know a Bauer Nexus 6ee fits my feet, so i bought a pair and had them converted. No fucking about with skates that are meant to fit this way and that. I knew what works and for me that is saving time and money.

    Hmm in that case then I'd convert these current boots they have, and get new ice ones as they're probably due new ones anyway. That way you're only paying for chasis and wheels, instead of two new sets of boots per child. If that makes sense.

    Keep the boots and swap out the runners for a roller chasis, it'll be cheaper

    As someone who has brought skates once purely on aesthetics, don't bother.

    But if in your opinion the Vapors feel better than the Warrior equivalent, I wear Vapors and tried my mates Warriors on ( I think they were Alphas) they did feel better tbf. What do you do for skates though, as Warrior don't make skates.

    We're a mixed ability team, I'm an ice player, but due to circumstances now playing roller. Anyway our players for the most part can skate well, stop, transition puck handle and shoot, but have ZERO hockey sense. Me and the guy who runs the side are trying to change that. Are there any decent, simple drills for us too do, cheers!

    I use black with blue dots, they came as standard in my Nexus, so I kept them, just changed to waxed though

    Tbf depends where you live, only reason I'd ever go for that is if I couldn't get my foot to fit into a pair of retail skates.

    People lacing up their skates with that feature should have at least used it to see if they liked it or not. Same with the extra holes you get on running trainers. Try them, if you like them, use them, if not, oh well.

    I meant that CCM/Bauer have paid the NHL to only allow players in who wear their skates only to be allowed in the competition

    Could be a marketing thing, CCM/Bauer pay for players to be there or something. Wouldn't put it past any company to do that

    I still have enough room to be able to talk and shout etc but the chin cup isn't flapping about loose.

    What I did is twist the straps bringing in the slack before clipping them to the helmet. I wear a bubble for my own safety, couldn't give a fuck about being chirped. I'm 5 foot 6. Going into corners means sticks and elbows to the face. That don't get called.
