  1. "We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better, stronger, faster" Damn Steve, good luck with the surgery.
  2. I've had good luck using shin pad strap sets. Use JR or SR depending on your width preference. Pics are of a bicep strap swap I did last month for reference.
  3. Anyone have a line on one of these? Sharpening for a high school team this season . It's no longer on the Prosharp site. Thanks
  4. Why didn't you heat the area first? It would have made the area much more pliable and more likely to retain the shape of the punch out once cooled. Punching material in its cooled, rigid state reacts predictably, as seen in the pictures above.
  5. Might want to ask for two pairs, one for the future.
  6. Selling a box of Blademaster skate eyelets. Bought a box of 250 as it's the smallest amount they sell. I've used 8, there are 242 eyelet/washers remaining Size 404, black. $40 shipped in N/A.
  7. Good luck Steve! Hope it goes smoothly and biopsies are "unremarkable". At least you're out for what sounds like a pretty unpleasant procedure. I had my hernia surgery this morning (for the injury the day before Summer Jam). Hurts to roll over or get out of bed. Hoping that doesn't last for too long...
  8. Just picked these up
  9. Same issue here on the East coast... I've got several new people asking me to sharpen for them going forward after bad experiences at Pure Hockey. Two of them indicated that when they brought skates back to get "fixed" after a bad sharpening they were even worse than they were. Have you considered getting a home sharpener? If you're looking at mailing out steel for sharpening your buy back will be even quicker.
  10. https://www.icewarehouse.com/Nash_Double_Skate_Steel/descpage-NASDBP.html Description indicates it will fit four sets.
  11. Have you looked at the CCM Jetspeed girdle? The height adjustment in the thighpads and vecro closure front should be just what you need.
  12. As big of a True skate guy as I am, I won't buy any of the lightweight shell models until they figure this out. I like everything about the Cats aside from the fragility.
  13. I've used it for many years without issue.
  14. Barge cement with the yellow and red label.
  15. Just sell the current gloves and get ones that fit. I have had to do this with several pairs of gloves (I have long fingers) . I like to do mods and tinker as well, but this is a mod where the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
  16. Correct- You can use a glass beer/soda bottle to apply outward pressure or just use your hands.
  17. Have you tried spot heating and rolling the edge out?
  18. Damn dude, hang in there and keep the faith. You should have enough punches in your card for the shoulder treatment to be free...
  19. The bolded part could be problematic for pet owners...
  20. I've had good luck with this on a pair of VH skates that had Vegas Gold accents. Just do a good job masking off what you want black, overspray won't come off.
  21. Can you post a couple of pics of what the toe cap looks like now?
  22. Ask what the overall length is and see if it's close to what you have. The Graf tongues tend to be on the thicker side, so ensure you will have enough room in the boot to accommodate. The felt would go under the toecap, the leather over and the stitching about where the holes are now.
