Body language says TO is done. I hate to see that out of a young talent like Matthews.

The call on Hornqvist was spot on. He made no contact with head and boards and tossed his head back like he had. I immediately called that a flop at the sports bar before any replay.

A few weeks on these and this steel holds an edge like nothing I've been on before.

He's Marchand Lite, all the stupid, half the ability.

Sure, if he is a bonafide leader that can mentor the kids. Kovalchuk is not that.

Signing a 35 year old guy isn't exactly how one rebuilds a franchise.

If he owns a store then why doesn't he just develop a relationship with True and save himself the "perceived" aggravation? -

Longer options and stiffer flexes are also available thru MyBauer. -
I'm now 3 skates in and with my foot settling into the ankle pads the pitch is matching what I was used to skating on prior to these. Outside of adjusting to the steel height difference between my super worn down LS2 and the new SB black, these bad boys are really dialing in for me.

2 skates in on these and they're a great set of wheels. Increased pitch coming off Tuuk is taking a little getting used to but getting nice response from these.

Reminds of when the Mrs. and I watch the Amazing Race together. At some point either one of us could say, "We'd kill each other".

If you're going to quote me and disagree, at least reread what I wrote first. Nothing worse than being lectured for saying exactly what the lecturer posts in response.

They play low off the points but they do their best to be in the shooting lane.
-
Not much more annoying that being at the point and the opposing forward just glues themselves to you.

Beer league should always keep it simple. The two D and center (or first guy back) handle down low and wings are responsible for the points. With the short benches and constant subs in and out of beer league teams you really can't adopt any actual system as the guys won't have enough familiarity with each other to execute.

It has been a few years since I've been behind the bench as an assistant but I'm always happy to share my philosophies.

I was all set to test out a couple tapered blades until I got to the $38 for standard shipping.

An 11 year old shouldn't be put on an intense workout program.

Strange, I just looked at the site and saw the Reign LT, Supernatural, and Nasty shafts listed.

Many of the so-called elite teams are just money grabs for the people running them and a pain in the ass for the parents shuffling their kids all over lord knows where.
-
I think the balance would be rather similar between short track speed skating and hockey.

I would expect Bauer customs in Europe would follow the same process as those in North America. -

It really picked up steam this time around. Your participation trophy is in the mail.
