  2. Wonder if Bauer did this by design? While I appreciate the digs Warrior has thrown at the 1X, the bottom line is that it's just bringing more attention to the Bauer twig.
  3. It all comes down to what works and doesn't work for the individual player. I don't consider myself heavy yet I skate on 3/4's and I have seen many tall, heavier players skating on 3/8's. I got to my setting my gradually working my way up to 3/4's. You also have to take into account just what it is you're trying to achieve.
  4. 1X is a true one piece. Bauer uses the term monocomp.
  5. Looks like the same except for an upgraded liner to Thermo Max.
  6. Yes, Warrior makes a nice 4-roll glove, but... 1) This thread is for discussing 2015 Bauer product. 2) He asked about replacing his current Bauer 4-roll pro within the Nexus 4-roll line.
  7. Being a huge fan of mesh gussets IMO the 1000 is much nicer than the 800.
  8. Nice addition of the 'skate line' laces. Will probably be popular for those non wax lace users.
  9. Fit wise there's no difference between the Mako II and M8.
  10. Unlace the right skate fully and see if you can see what is there? Not sure if you are describing the area of the top of the toebox or the side? Pain, especially sharp is a concern, even if minor on your scale.
  11. Get yourself some nice new white waxed laces to go with that shiny new holder!
  12. Congrats on passing the NREMT practical. When are you planning on taking the written? In any case, like I said before, you got this.
  13. Congratulations and good luck with the practical and written. You're part of MSH so I know you have this!
  14. He doesn't have to worry about his tendon guard breaking...
  15. Sorry, I stand corrected as I read someone's website wrong. Look's like junior sizes are not available.
  16. Step's Blacksteel is available in junior sizes.
  17. It's better if your class is in a building with an elevator. Board them, then stand them up in the elevator and send them to the ground floor.
