Haven't really been into spending all the money to see one band but I've seen just about every major country act thanks to 19 years at countryfest. But I recently saw Foo Fighters which was a really good show

Cruefest this summer with Motley Crue, Papa roach and Buckcherry there should be pretty good. Also got Kanye with Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna should be a pretty good one too.

Most of my favorite shows are from the 80's when arena rock ruled and stage sets got huge.

1984 - Iron Maiden Powerslave Tour. THE best stage set I've ever seen. I think they also set a record of loudness. Twisted Sister opened and challenged some dude in the front row to a fight.

I"ve seen Ozzy, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Van Halen/Hagar, Judas Priest, AC/DC, KISS, Queensryche, Metallica, all multiple times. All good shows.

Pick a hair band from the 80's and I was there. But ironically, one of the best shows I saw was Journey in 1989. I know... fag... but a good show. I'll even admit to liking the Loverboy show.

Weirdest combo was Rush with Fabulous Thunderbirds opening. That ranks up there with Neil Young having Social Distorition and Sonic Youth open. Sonic Youth basically got booed off the stage by the biker/freedom rock crowd. SD started to get booed and Mike Ness got pissed and started kicking some ass on the guitar. He won the crowd over pretty quickly.

90s- Any Steve Winwood show I've seen. The man can play any instrument, especially lead guitar on "Dear Mr Fantasy" and piano on "Low Spark of High-heeled Boys."

Old quote, I know. But Steve Winwood and Traffic are amazing. I wish I was old enough to have seen them in their prime.
