badger_14 601 Report post Posted February 14, 2015 The other goalie at pickup very kindly gave me one of his extra sticks to try out and keep, since mine was too small and I don't really have the resources to spend on a new one just now. I can't begin to describe how grateful I am.

kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted February 16, 2015 Like so many SNL episodes over the years, it was hit or miss. It was too long. I honestly lost interest about halfway through. I think it was all of the fluff between skits that did me in.....
BenderHockey 127 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 I didn't like the forced stuff, like shoehorning the "buh-bye" skit into the Californians and such. Seemed stiff overall.

Caihlen 67 Report post Posted February 19, 2015 Bought a set of gen 1 Makos and skated them for the first time last night. Quite a step up from my entry level Reeboks! Astonishing really. I felt much faster and in better control. Really pleased......Hockey is fun.
IPv6Freely 2092 Report post Posted February 19, 2015 Indeed. I actually got asked if I'd been taking skating lessons. I told them nope, I just got skates that it doesn't hurt to skate in.
