Pro stock Easton MiC or MiC Franchise. You can still get custom PPFs though, but the lead time is about 3-4 months for customs at this point. From the general options though, I prefer the Bauer Pro Series, which used to be Nexus. Light and durable and a nice liner. Warrior quality is horrible at retail these days, and CCM hg97 would be in the middle for me. But Eagle is the best out there at this point, and if you can wait a few months and afford customs then imo it's a no brainer

Miller pretty much nailed the state of play. I’ve always been partial to Franchise, Eagle and Easton in that order. Warrior’s decline at retail has been catastrophically bad/embarassing. Not sure if it’s a rising materials/input cost issue or the product design team is totally clueless, or maybe a bit of both. CCM 4 rolls are OK, Nexus Pro Series are nice but not worth $200.

I have two pair of the Bauer Nexus. I love the similarity to the Cooper BDP from a long time ago. Other than that they are comfortable and the 15" fit my hands well.

I would try true and CCM. I was in Supremes before going to true. I didn't pass the pencil test but with the thick bobby Clarke custom tongues I never had lace bite, but the best skates I wore were Nexus 1000, just to give an idea on the depth I need. And true have been great for me, no depth issues

I'm seeing a lot of folks say that the tf7 and tf9 are a toss up. I'm thinking of trying the 7's out

The p30 and Bauer p14 were my fav curves as well and can’t be found retail anymore. It sucks because I would love to try the new top sticks with it. Instead I’ve settled onto the p28 and it’s “ok” you can get a p30/14 from prostock sticks in customized and that’s about it edit: forgot about Bauer you can build with p14 which is similar on my bauer

I have, and actually once I gained some skill at winning faceoffs, I love it. I appreciate being able to play a little deeper. I naturally drop down a little deeper on defense when I need to cover, but as a winger that puts me out of position sometimes -- but it helps keep the puck out of our net. When defense gets back in position, I go back to cover my zone. Anyhow, when playing center it's nice because I'm actually supposed to generally be in that area if mlneed be. I've got a D league team I'm slated to sub for, so when I get some ice time with them hopefully I can get added to the roster after a few games.

But you don’t lace your skates. Your facing could be made of gelatin and it wouldn’t make a difference.

Have you played center? You are more likely to skate more since you should be playing deep in the offensive zone helping wingers and deep in your defensive zone helping the defensemen. You probably want to look for a new team a level up this coming fall/winter.

Similar boat here, but ended up back in Vapors due to the narrower toe box of the JetSpeed FT485. I immediately noticed that the boot was deeper than my previous Vapor x500's. I really wanted the CCM to work for me, but I ended up in Vapor 3x, Fit 2. That said, I need to shit or get off the pot and pick up a pair of TF9's before they dry up.

The problem isn't you per se, it's everyone else. I find when I drop down into some D league games the other players aren't good enough or just don't know to hit the open man. Maybe tweak your game a bit so you aren't so reliant on others. In other words, if you want the puck, go get it.

I was a lifetime Vapor D wearer and had many of the same issues. Switching to a Jetspeed D FT490/FT2 solved nearly all of my lacebite and high instep problems while adding better heel lock. I think the closest fit in the current offerings is the tapered cut.

Either in conjunction with the extenders or on their own, try panther teeth. You will need 2, tie tight before the teeth, loose thru the lace bite section and then as tight as you like above it. https://pantherteeth.com/ Or do as I have done for the last 4 years or so, lace up till just below the lace bite section. For me this is 5 eyelets down.

That I don’t know unfortunately. But if I had to base it on the release cycle I’d say a year’ish & some is what I’d put my money on.

Unfortunately not going to happen unless True or someone sent them to me. I don't have the connection to get what I used to anymore 😞
