    I never bought that knock on Kessel. The guy has speed and a great shot, given enough ice time and open ice and he'll score his goals.

    There was an "undisclosed upper body injury" in November and I think a hand or finger injury, as well.

    I think part of Thomas' problem this season is how hard the B's rode him last season. I've always said Thomas performs best in a tandem role and isn't a Brodeur/Luongo kind of guy that can go 65-70 games. I still wonder if he isn't battling some of the ailments that hindered him early in the season. Goalies get exposed when they're trying to protect or compensate for an injury.

    I am far from an advocate for smoking weed but I am just wondering how it would be unethical to do so?

    I must have missed "Thou shalt not drink beer or smoke weed" in my CCD classes.

    It doesn't have to be a majority of the people, just the right group of people. Plus, some folks get in just because they've been lucky enough to stay around the game long enough, regardless of talent at what they do.

    I found that when I made the switch from traditional to FBV that I had to change my hollow from a 1/2" equivalent to a 9/16" equivalent.

    The idea is to do it yourself first and then get comments, not fish for ideas. That is lazy.

    To an extent, however, when writing a paper you still have to support your position and no teacher will give an "A" just because your position agrees with their's without quality behind it.

    The same thing happened when Patrice Bergeron came back from his severe concussion. A good, solid hit put him out again for a few weeks. He just lately is looking like the player he was beforehand.

    A buddy of mine had one with him last night and it looks to be somewhat similar to a P91/Drury type pattern.

    I wouldn't worry too much about it. It seems the only NHLers who ever get caught or admit it are fringe players and fringe goons.

    Yeah, I guess it would suck to be the father of a Stanley Cup winner. Four kids? Yikes. Me and the Mrs. can barely take care of the two cats.

    Rask isn't going anywhere and I think the B's would be wise to keep Thomas around for at least well into the next season, just to be sure Rask can handle the load.

    You must have been watching a different game because I don't think a single run was taken all night. Completely boring game where neither team seemed too interested in being physical.
