I was in 7.5 Ribcors and Jetspeeds with 263's for a while and loved them, then I got a deal on some FT4 Pros in the same size that had 271's. I had them profiled the same but they just felt longer than I was used to, then I had the front/rear blended more and I found the sweet spot. Flash fwd after using the FT4's for a couple of months and I had some loose rivets right before a game so I went back to my old Jetspeeds with the 263's... I could skate but they def felt shorter and I didn't feel as stable or as fast, next game I was back in the FT4's with 271's and everything felt so much better. So, if I were in your position I would go 271 on the AS3's, it's not much larger physically compared to 263 and doesn't look out of place on a 7.5 at all (not that aesthetics is really a deal breaker but I know we're all concerned at least a little bit lol).

I keep hoping Aycane runs a sale soon so I can pick up a couple more pairs, they're def my favorite out of what I have.

I've heard great things about those, they're made by Currex and still produced just without the CCM branding. -

I tried speed plates in the past and hated them, so I get where he's coming from. The stock insoles are basically flat so any stock one would be similar, like someone said above, a shop might have some laying around. The other options are aftermarket... Superfeet are very popular, they'll cradle the heel more but also give a slight lift to the heel (which may help or hurt depending where the pain spots are), they have the traditional yellow and also a carbon pro which I've found lifts the heel slightly more. CCM has their orthomove (I think that's what its called) which is a slightly more subtle version of the Superfeet Yellow with less heel lift and slightly less heel cradle). If you just want some basic stock footbeds I might have a pair or two, I'm a 7.5 skate so with some trimming they should work, just pay for shipping and they're yours. -
I can only speak to how it compares to the P28 and it's slightly less open than a P28, otherwise it's pretty similar curve wise but with less rocker and a more square toe. There's another thread discussing this curve so you may get more responses in there.

So far so good. Coming from an older Easton backpack (which was really just a normal hockey bag but with shoulder straps) this one has much more room to it. The build quality seems really good, the zippers are all really heavy duty but not the smoothest so while they feel really strong they are a bit of a chore to open/close at times, I'd rather have this than zippers that are easy to open/close but feel like they'll fail at any moment (which was the case with my old Easton). The skate pockets fit my size 7.5 skates pretty well but I can't imagine they'd work well for people with large skates. There's plenty of room in the three other pockets, I use the one larger one for tape/wax and scissors, one small one for powerfeet inserts and a screwdriver, and the other for extra laces and misc. bolts/j clips/etc. Coming from a bag with just a mesh pouch for stuff I almost feel like I have too much storage now lol. The main compartment is large which is awesome, tons of room to put everything in, the one downside was it had a pretty strong chemical smell when I got it which lasted about 2 weeks, luckily I keep everything in the garage otherwise this wouldn't have stayed inside the house. The shoulder straps work well but I have 2 gripes... first, I wish they were a few inches longer since with a hoodie, or even a coat, it can be tough to get the second arm in at times even when extended out as far as they can go, a few more inches on the adjustable straps would be awesome. And second, the shoulder straps are connected at the top in like a semi circle that can dig into your neck/shoulders, I wish they made the straps more separate and maybe slightly wider... I'm not a huge guy by any means but it almost feels like they designed this for a kid with how the straps are. Oh and the water bottle holders, these are something I didn't really care about but I've found them useful, I stick my normal sized gatorade water bottle in one and then my small pre-game drink in the other, so far so good, if they rip I'll just go back to putting the gatorade bottle inside the bag (I don't fill it up til I get to the rink so it's empty) and carrying the pre-game drink. So overall I'm really happy with the bag, for the price it's definitely worth it (I got mine from the company through sidelineswap when they ran a 10% off sale, it worked out to be almost $10 cheaper than direct from their site after shipping and taxes).

Agree with everything that has been said so far but also wanted to add to make sure you're not relying on just the straps on the shin guards to hold them in place, many times they can shift and therefore not protect as well as they should. There's a reason so many players use tape on their shins (and why so many of the pro shin guards don't have straps at all), once you find a pair that fits her well make sure to get some tape to go over the socks to keep them in place (I prefer clear as it has a little stretch/give to it but cloth tape works too).

yea I agree... I only buy baselayers I can find on clearance, last set was some Nike Pro stuff that Kohls of all places had for about $30 for the pants and $25 for the shirt, I really love the pants but not crazy about the shirt (good thing I have a stack of "league champion" dri-fit shirts from our league since that's the prize for winning 😂).

That looks awesome! Link to carbon wrap? I love my FT4 Pro's but HATE the red, wish they were all black but don't want to try the nail polish remover/paint stripper method.

I picked up a pair of these a couple of months ago (thanks to targeted ads that got me 🤬) and honestly I'm beyond happy with them. They're on thge thinner side but do have some extra material in certain areas and also offer some compression, they also offer a cut resistant version if that's something that interests you. I was skeptical but seeing how Peter Forsberg was involved I decided to give it a try (he's got a pretty good track record with products, even if his other major product is hideous and I'd never wear them... Crocs). https://aycane.com/en-us/collections/socks/products/powerlight-socks

Talk to Melissa at Pure Hockey in Smithtown, they do custom True, CCM, and Bauer I believe.

*SOLD* Selling a pair of CCM Jetspeed Team sticks (FT3 generation, not retail "team" sticks but the ones made for NCAA/juniors/etc), sticks are LH, 75 flex, P90TM and LK build (so shoot more like a Ribcor). One was used maybe 2 games and the other never used (butt end taped, blade never taped). Sticks were cut and measure 64.25" against a wall. I gave up on the p90TM curve and decided to stick with P28. Asking $160 + shipping in the U.S. Asking $140 + shipping in the U.S.

*SOLD* 10/26 price dropped to $300+shipping Selling a pair of Jetspeed FT490's that I used for about 4mos of beer league before switching things up. Skates are in excellent condition, just a few minor cosmetic scuffs from playing, aside from that they're barely even broken in. Size 7.5D with a 263 XS Holder. Skates will come with a brand new unsharpened set of XS steel and a used set of Step Blacksteel (profiled to Quad 0 with a 3/4" fire hollow), the Step I've had since my old skates but I had 2 sets I rotated so these have a ton of life left. Skates will also come with 2 sets of insoles, a CCM Ortholite which I used once, and Superfeet Yellow. I'll also include the brand new white non waxed laces they originally came with along with the yellow waxed ones (which add mega bonus style points 😂). Asking $300 + $20 shipping in the US. I gave up on the P90TM and went back to the P28 since it was too difficult finding pro stock models. "P90", "P90T", "P90M", and "P90TM" seem to be used interchangeably among some sellers and you never really know what you're getting, I'd love to see some side by sides of a P90TM next to a P90 and P90T, I know the P90 was CCM's pro stock version of a P92/29 and pretty sure the T model was a Benn curve clone, but not sure how they compare to the TM. My head hurts already just thinking about it haha

This wins the internet for me today 😂 my wifi network at home is "goes to eleven" 😉

I give up 🤣

I'm glad it's not just me 🤣 I can't figure out their models at all... QRE10 vs QRE5 and the 5 is better/newer? I know the QRE's are low kick and the LX is more hybrid but no clue where the DX comes in. I tried reading their site and info about each line and just get more confused. I know I own 2 right now, a QRE10 which is def a low kick, and an LX Pro which is similar to a Jetspeed with what feels like a hybrid kick, I prefer the LX Pro but I think they're both top end models, but then again have no idea.

They're supposed to be more durable but I had pretty disappointing results. I used my Trigger 6 Pro for maybe 7 or 8 games and the blade started splitting down the middle lengthwise on the top and lost all strength. I was pretty bummed because it felt great and was so much better than the Trigger 5 Pro I had broken and warrantied for the 6 (which is why I didn't warranty the 6, pretty sure you can't warranty a warrantied replacement). I think the blade thing is just bad luck, I've had it happen on an FT4 Pro pro stock stick once too, but other sticks that I've had longer/used more have been fine so I woudn't let my experience scare you away from the Trigger 6 Pro, like I said it was a great stick with great feel.

I have one of these also but don't wear it, I don't like the way it looks lol, the shape is different than the Profile II and it sits closer to the face. I have issues 🤦♂️🤣 I have 2 Jofa bubble cages now on my helmets and in storage I have 3 Profile II's, 1 Profile III, and one Reakt titanium, I also had an FV1 for a minute but returned it since it was too small (height wise was too short) and had a Bauer fishbowl I tried out after covid but hated it, fishbowls just aren't for me lol. I may have some issues when it comes to trying gear lol

I've used flat and round and honestly once you're on the ice you don't notice any difference. The biggest factor I've found is where the horizontal bars lineup with your eyes... I've had some cages I couldn't use because the bar ended up right in front of my eyes, and others that are perfect. I'm currently using a couple old Jofa bubble cages but I also love the Bauer Profile II cages, they have a nice shape that's not too close to the face and fit my face well (the Profile III fits way different and sits much closer to your face, I hated it). I prefer a white or grey cage since I find I tend to notice black more when I'm not trying to (the oreo style ones are great, white inside and black outside). Also remember that cage size and helmet size isn't the same, some people have longer faces and some shorter so if you can go to a store and sort of try them on that would be a good idea. I wear a large Bauer Profile II cage (which fits smaller than a CCM large but bigger than a CCM medium), and have worn them on small CCM V08's, small CCM 910's, and a medium Bauer IMS9.

If you just insert the image location (the links you posted) If you just right click the image in the link you posted, then "copy image location" and paste that location using the "insert image from URL" button on the bottom right you'd be able to post the actual photos in the post instead of links 😉 Here's the first one:

As others have said, it's business, so that drives the deal. I've had AK jerseys in the past and they do offer a lot of options and are not a bad company at all. I mean it could be wayyy worse... imagine if ECHL signed with Mens League Sweaters and all the players had to figure out how to fit their arms in the sleeves that were 4 sizes skinnier than the body of the jerseys 😂 AK is def not a bad choice when some of those cheapo brands are out there.

Just saw a CCM ad for the 100k's today and thought it was odd since they had been hard to find for a while, guess they got their supply chain issues all figured out.

Looks like he's also in the ST girdle, those look like shells to me.

Saw one of the hockey IG pages refer to it as the AGE(s only 9-14 are the ones we're targeting)NT and I'll be damned if that doesn't sound right.
