2010-2011 Gear Sightings

And the only difference is the number font, IIRC?

I just took a look at the Montreal Canadiens home jerseys from the 1992-1993 NHL season and the number font looks the same as the jerseys for the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic.

Accordingly, to the official website of the Canadiens, these are the home jerseys that the team wore between 1974-1975 and 1995-1996.

That's what the jersey is based off, I believe. Light colored pants and all. They went far more vintage than any other team has so far, and I like it. I'd love to wear that jersey.

Like I told my buddies, I don't know why they don't rock the A-Town Flames jerseys. I know they weren't much different but it is actually a throwback.

Because that jersey has nothing to do with Calgary.

Yeah I mean the Atlanta Flames didn't relocate to Calgary or anything.

It has nothing to do with the history of Calgary as a city. This jersey does. Not too mention this is the Heritage Classic. Canadian teams. Why would they use anything that has to do with the US version of the team?

I don't think the Calgary jerseys are too bad and the shells are something different at least.

The pippi longstockings need to go though. NHL socks have always tried to incorporate too many stripes.

In the spirit of the Heritage Classic, they should also don those sexy perms.

Because Calgary didn't have a team before that so what is the point of pitting them in the Heritage Classic vs the Habs then?

Calgary DID have a team before that. A couple actually. One of them, the Calgary Tigers, are what these Heritage Jerseys are based on. Please read all posts regarding the topic.

Definitely Leafs. Pre-RBK Blues and Sabres. Has team ever had solid colored socks?

Looks like Odessa - Central Hockey League is going with Easton...

%7Boption%7D

That's surprising. I thought the whole league was Sherwood sponsored?
