Sometimes I wish I’d finished high school :P (I’m just kidding. Stay in school, kids!)
-
Figured I'd update with career stats. This does not include the first two games which were in a different league at a different rink (1-1-0 record).
-
Yea balance for us is pretty decent. Even the last place team is the one that was in the finals with us last season. The one we just beat actually added two new players that immediately became the two best players in the league. I guess we're just good when it counts? hah :)
-
Unlikely. We don't dominate anyone, in fact we're not even close to the top of the standings. Playoffs just happen to be only 2 games long and we managed to win both by 1-goal in tight games.

Yes. He screams at his teammates if they miss passes, etc.

Our championship was last night. I didn't have to do much, but did make one key save when it was 2-1 and they had a 2-on-0.

Back-to-back back-to-back champs! (4 in a row!)

The decline in quality of experience with Virgin America over the last two years has been staggering.

Yea, I replaced the yellow and tried taking the red out as well but that made a significant change to the volume. Put the red back in with my custom SIDAS and now all good. -
I've used this analogy a few times and I think it fits well. It's no different from people thinking vaccines cause autism, despite the study that linked the two being debunked. Some people still put weight into it, regardless of the facts, because "it's all we have". There's not much you can say to sway those people. The best you can do is educate the uninformed (those who may not know it's been debunked) and hope common sense takes over. I guess all other things being equal (fit, price, weight, materials, looks... in that order) then yea sure go ahead and use the VT score as a tie breaker. I like to think one of the first couple items in the list would have broken the tie long before then, though.

This is what I want to know as well. -
Stopped rookie league superhero on a breakaway by skating out for a hard diving poke check. Guy went flying into the corner. Skates over to me after the whistle "THAT WAS CHEAP BRO". I laughed, "is the puck in the net?" Our team is half filled with guys who just learned to skate, and their team has 5-6 guys who should be in D4 (two divisions up). It's a bit ridiculous.

Our times don't change throughout the year. I played a 10:15 last night and had a few beers after. Got home at 1:30AM, and woke up at 5 for work. Today should be fun!

HUGE thank you to JR and Warrior for the chance to demo this! Review coming soon...

Not a fan either. Nice to see them putting their brand on them now, though!

Likely just decided to go tuuk. -
What's with the blue on the tendon guard? Was that a request?
-
Totally agree. Playing low divisions is really frustrating! That said... I play against one guy who takes super hard slapshots that have a tendency to drop sharply at the last second. Really have to concentrate on those!

Nope, mine remain consistent. I check probably every other time (any time I'm not in a rush).
