Edge is a different Wintergreen flavor offered by skoal. Im not to fond of any wintergreen flavors but, ill buy a tin of edge every once in a while.

What are some good mixes that people here like? Ive been hooked on mixing skoal cherry and vanilla. Tastes so good but its pretty expensive after always buying Grizzly Mint.

Wrapping some types of dip with gum is pretty good too, but it really depends on the flavor of the gum and dip you are mixing.

I've had red man and big league chew together but wrapping dip in gum sounds disgusting.

i have packed during a open hockey shift if that counts. Its all about longhorn w/g and longhorn mint soooo much cheaper and is just as good as skoal and almost as good as grizzly

Kayak Grape is one of the tins I throw into the mix once a month or so. I know some guys that dip that stuff constantly, I cant deal with the fruity flavors that much.

I agree some types of dip are disgusting wrapped but if you find a good combo it is delicious, and i also really want to try some red man but they don't sell it here.

If you want to try chaw, dont even look at Redman. Go for the Levi Garret. And if it was possible to hit JR through my computer for even mentioning Kayak grape, I probably would. Kayak is low man...

I just ordered 5 tins of Kayak Grape and was unsure about how it would turn out but you set my mind to rest. I love purple kool-aid!

I've definitely started to prefer grizz over skoal, and they cost about the same around here. I just find that grizz stays "together" better while skoal seems harder to keep from spreading out. Must be all those big twig pieces :lol:

Not to be preachy but your dentists will hate you if you continue dipping. I had a buddy whose dentist told him straight out that he will refuse to treat him anymore if he didn't quit. His gums in the front were utterly destroyed.

Mine gives me shit every time. He is always trying to scare me (and it works) when giving me my cancer exam by sighing and "hmm..."ing a lot.

I only throw in 2 a day and my dentist has never brought it up. When I told him that I dip he said that it reallys helps if you alternate where you put it each time.

yes. i dip now and then and when i do i get that. skoal is more expensive here and all my friends stick to grizz because it lasts longer than skoal and is 2 bucks cheaper.. ($3 US)

as for kayak grape, i bought a tin the other day and while it is good, it just breaks up way too fast.. and i got stick of the flavor after about 3 big pinches. however though you cant go wrong for 2 bucks a tin
