    I pay for the teams I play on... I get a jersey and I enjoy my time with them. I don't pay as much as the others do but I still insist on paying. Pickup and drop in I would obviously never pay for though.

    Make sure you look for the XP on the label though for the CCM's as that represents the D3O foam package.

    HG12 or HG13 XP. Will have D3O fingers and backhand and has better backhand segmentation for more mobility. In my experience 11K cuffs are bigger than the Covert cuffs.

    Everything new is stupid until it works and becomes mainstream. Let's be real, there is 1 or maybe 2 people here that would actually buy a top end stick for retail anyways let alone a limited run basically prototype. I like that Bauer is trying things, let the whales buy it and test it while everyone else waits to see if it catches on.

    While the internet believes CCM was holding Lefevre back, from what I heard it was the other way around. Lefevre certainly has their hardcore followers and a bunch are in the NHL. But I am excited for what CCM has to offer.

    Yes, me asking for "half size big in the toe" ended up them just removing the black thicker foam piece and keeping only the red ones. I took everything out of the toe and I couldn't flatten my foot out when standing and with knees bent my toes were still squished.

    It was the only way I could get my toes not being crushed in the toe box... so it was a worth while.

    I disagree on not going with Superfeet. Only thing I used to get my player skates comfortable. But it was the VERY last thing I tried.

    Just wait until they catch up with Bauer's decision and they will spread them out... Then they will change the names of their top end products to something unique to differentiate from the other brands that added "Pro" to their lines. 😆

    It is a solid stick, but like other Sher-wood sticks I wouldn't expect performance like the top of CCM/Bauer/Warrior. It feels like a slight tier down to me. But I love the grip and the new stiffer blade compared to the EK60.

    Which also makes sense that 99% of the guys that can blow pucks by me are using Supreme, Nexus, Tacks, Jetspeed.

    I don't even look at it as "low kick gets off faster so goalie has less of a time to react." It's more of "I have less time to ensure proper technique and load so low kicks allow me to just quickly fling it at the net trying to get around legs or a block." The shot ends up being more consistent as the stick does more of the work for me.

    I shoot slower with the low-licks than I do the Supremes and Tacks. But it is way easier to get off quickly and consistently, where as I really have to load the Tacks and Supreme to get a good shot off. But it comes off a few MPH faster.
