  1. Are you talking about taking 2 inches off of a Warrior Senior stick? Is that where you're getting 63"? Sorry if I don't follow.
  2. If you take care of them as in keep them dry and stored properly, don't block shots, and stay out of the corners they should last a long time!
  3. That's what messed me up. My son has only used Bauer sticks but has an Alpha DX that he really likes. Then I saw a new DX PRO on SS for $140 and thought wow, what a deal. I didn't know the PRO was more of a team stick.
  4. Is it me or is Warrior poor at naming and marketing? Or really hockey companies are in general. Is there an Alpha LX and an Alpha LX PRO? LX PRO is tops? Is there an Alpha DX and Alpha DX PRO? DX PRO is beneath DX? I don't even know what the heck I'm buying.
  5. Oh right. 65" would be an overall length. 60" from the heel. That's kind of hard to measure but that's what they use I guess. So what is the 63"? I just wish they'd say standard senior length.
  6. 415 or 360 grams? 63"? I thought standard senior stick length is 65"? Don't tell me Warrior measures differently.
  7. Well just about every backpack has two of those bottle holders. And that mesh style will rip. Maybe not right away but eventually.
  8. Where are these available? Or only with new skates.
  9. swap in one steel? What does that mean? When you switch you're switching out the pair, right?
  10. That would be great. It's a lot of change just for changes sake. Stupid really.
  11. So true. Where are their new, stronger/lighter/proprietary materials? I think the whole 1X Lite shin guard was made out of Curv Composite. Those were so light! Bought some 2S Pro's soon after and they felt like boat anchors.
  12. Yes, that's what I think too. They're great gloves with great protection but not nearly as fitted and supple as the 2S Pros my son uses for practice. Just a different type of glove altogether.
  13. Right, we had some and this is true. But now have a pair of Nexus pro stock (2N?), brand new from a college team. They're nice but super heavy. Not sure what gives there.
  14. What's a girdle??? 🤔 Never heard that term in hockey before.
  15. Says 425g. As long as this isn't just a repainted stick that's already in the range.
  16. I never commented on any specific stick. I just said manufacturers have nowhere left to go besides making the 400g stick perform longer. That would be the real improvement. Everything else is just a lie. Unless we are offered a $500, 250g stick that will last one game? I know that's what I'm looking for.
  17. I don't think so for a $300 stick. Face it, the sticks have stopped getting lighter so the only improvements left are retaining performance and durability. 45 days? And you're only on the ice 4-6 times a week? You have zero expectations I guess.
  18. Oh shoot, I forgot about the funny shaped GEO shaft. Oh well, stuff happens. I'll cut a little groove in the crack, cover it with JB Weld and shoot pucks outside until it breaks!
  19. Have a new, broken GEO. Don't ask. Is stick repair a "good" thing? Who does it? How will it change the stick?
