  1. Hmm, I did not know that. Hopefully I never have to use it. Thanks.
  2. FWIW, I'm a CCM stick user and I steer clear of CCM pro stocks. Their codes are useless without the barcode on the handle. I don't know if the "partial refund" feature works like a payoff. When you purchase an item you either accept or reject. There is no bartering so to speak. Maybe it's an option if the buyer contacts customer support.
  3. Does the runner move when the skates are cold? I always found it harder to remove and insert runners when the skates are cold like during use. They're much easier at room temp.
  4. Having an item returned or canceling a sale generates an automatic negative review.
  5. Part of the next gen game on Wed. https://www.tsn.ca/toronto-maple-leafs-justin-bieber-next-gen-1.1774884
  6. It's all personal preference. When questions like this are asked people tend to recommend what they use or like. The thing to keep in mind is, what works for some may not work for others. Give em try and see what one suites you best. I switched because I hated taping sticks. Even though I had a fairly decent process they still felt different from stick to stick. IMO $40 on grips that have lasted three or so years isn't a waste of money.
  7. They have to be selling them off or donating them. I can't imagine they're eating the cost.
  8. Ive used both Tacki Macs and Buttendz over the past few years. I prefer the Buttendz because they are transferable from stick to stick. They're also much more durable than Tacki Macs. You get what you pay for I guess.
  9. Give Howie's lightly waxed. They're much easier to deal with. For the negative space. What about insoles? Superfeet take up a good deal of space.
  10. This version of Mathews AS-V's looks much better. More pics in their Instagram post.
  11. The 100k is a one piece boot. It will be stiffer than other ribcor models. Just an FYI. I'd see if you can find some new 70k or 80k's. I see them fairly often on sideline swap. @claymanwhat size are you? I have a pair of lightly used 70k's I am looking to sell.
  12. Do what everyone else does, relist them. I've had to do it a few times. Pro stock gear is fairly common these days. It's not hard find out what it is. If you can't, there's always another pair. Never cared for pro stock pants. They always felt stiff and heavy to me.
  13. Yeah, I know the spot. If you lost weight, which I assume you did since you mentioned how they feel big on you, you may have lost some of your natural padding in that area. The shock doctor padded shorts helped. I've also taken loose padding and put it under my compression layer.
  14. As a whole, no. The current Tacks are decent and the ribcors are imo the best looking skate out there. That said, I don't care for the look of the jetspeeds and this Matthews skate looks pretty meh.
  15. The Benn Pro available through the my Bauer program is the only direct comp I have found.
  16. I don't think dry land will ever feel like ice. The change in surface, ice vs land, along with skates vs shoes changes your form and alters your center of balance. One thing I'd do is cut your off ice stick so it's matches your ice stick when wearing skates.
  17. I think you'll find that over time it will evolve into a full fledge PH store. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen.
  18. Its no mystery, it's all technique. The list of differences between shooting on dry land opposed to ice is long. In other words, it's not the stick...
  19. You've just described every other market, literally. Sucks that smaller shops are getting eaten up, but that's not on the manufacturers.
  20. IMO, change your profile to accommodate the added height. Taking 3-4mm off of brand new steel seems wasteful.
  21. Have you tried sites like Granger and McMaster Carr?
  22. I can attach photos directly from my mobile device. Just click on the paper clip and select the image you want to attach. The only wrinkle could be if you are posting from a different device then the one used to take the pic. Done from my phone
  23. Last time I looked it was only 6.5EE that used a 263.
  24. IMO the issues with both fit systems is the naming. Bauers Fit 1, 2, 3 is not very intuitive. CCM's is a little better though tapered gives people the impression that the boot has a V type fit. Not to mention that not all skates are built using the fit system. So typical...
