  1. I don't think we will know until you see the pro's wearing them. The older version were never in the catalogues (at least the NA catalogues).
  2. https://www.instagram.com/p/CM7ZhnXgkiV/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CNIT7CPgnb3/ 2SPro XL
  3. Both skates at the same time look interesting, but it makes the machine huge by spinning like that.
  4. So... that isn't actually how those knee pads connect to the garter or the pant. The pant picture you showed is the removeable padding that opens up the leg more. The grey nylon loop is actually where the knee pad would attach to. When you wear the garter you don't use the piece that says "Vapor" on the knee pad picture. That is the strap that will go into the loop in the pants.
  5. They should come with a velcro piece that attaches to pants in the same spot where the garter attaches. You could sew in a loop into the pants there to make it work that way.
  6. The draw was ideally retailers didn't have to carry a holder for each skate since they are symmetrical.
  7. I used the Sherwood coaching bag and it worked for me. Easily fit helmet, gloves, skates and some other things. Basically a pro bag shrunk.
  8. The majority of kids with 0 taste probably had that highly ranked.
  9. I loved the flex you could feel in the FT1 and the FT2 felt WAY stiffer and lost that feeling completely. So I would love the 100K in the Wide fit. I don't see a HUGE point in the FT2 and the Tacks line anymore. Both felt extremely stiff when I compared the FT2 to my AS1, never got a chance to try the AS3 Pro though.
  10. Decent stick at its normal price, steal of a stick for BOGO. Similar to Tacks in terms of blade feel and shooting characteristics. I have heard issues for durability for the blades on them though. Someone posted about it on reddit.
  11. Pro stock sticks has been talking about it. Most likely just a custom paint job. https://www.instagram.com/p/CM7ZhnXgkiV/
  12. What is the safety hazard? It is just screen print design on a raised part of foam.
  13. I think it should be obvious that the helmet ads were a trial run for jersey ads coming.
  14. Wait... so you think Crosby, the guy who won't get out of the EPRO holder... is actually wearing 80K skates now?
  15. All of their accessories and stuff will be revamped. I didn't notice Curv or anything in the cup from what I saw, but I didn't really take a hard look at it either sorry.
  16. PAWs and the old Maltese are comfortable but don't have a cap or plate over the knee. If you want actual protection you need a secondary and floating piece over the knee or a hard plastic top layer in the pads.
  17. Can you wait a few months? Bauer is launch 2 new pairs of knee pads this year and both look to be evolutions of the current Supreme and 1X. If you can wait I would, since I am going to make a bold assumption that Bauer will only improve those (but they have gone the wrong way before...).
  18. Go a size down. I wear 15" 2S Pro retail and they fit me well, the 15" HG11/12 are MASSIVE and the 14" fit me perfect.
  19. They are still on this site: http://leon-shop.ru/product/perchatki_hokkeynie_flame_russia_x_sr And the Russian pair covert to like $70? I reached out to see if they still offer custom gloves.
  20. The bubble not fitting right isn't an illusion... So many like 12-20s that have to still wear one wear it as far from their mouth as possible. I've seen a bunch that tighten the top bolts so it doesn't swing either and stays in place, they slide their head in so it looks like that. Often times their chin is totally exposed under the bubble. It has their desired look and "cool" factor.
  21. My local store has it, but it was super "common sense" if you think about hockey at all. You grab a specific pre-labelled stick with the markings on it, take a few shots with it and the app figures out the 3 sticks it thinks you should be in. From what I was told, it simply recommends the same sticks people would if you give them information about your playing style. For example, using me as the example since I did it: 6'3, 220lbs Defense not a lot of slapshots, aimed a quick release. The stick recommended 85 Ribcor as 1st, then 85 Jetspeed as 2nd, then 75 Ribcor as 3rd. Which is what anyone listening to how I play would recommend. The only thing super helpful with it is if someone is using a stick that is way too stiff, the lack of flex in the stick would help show that off.
  22. I swapped because I hated the steel height. Maybe it was a mental thing but I swear I couldn't turn as tightly without my skate hitting the ice and bottoming out.
