  1. The scan is guideline and not gospel. Try skates on according to the scan, decide what you like best, and if you’re truly a 6 or 6.5, get an older model Sr skate in the fit you prefer.
  2. https://hockeymenders.com/ or you can send them directly back to Eagle as well i believe
  3. Explain how this is “innovative” or better than what is currently in use, if you’re going to take that indignant stance on it. Different and innovative are two different things.
  4. It seems like a solution to a non existent problem. You can wear a cage, a fishbowl, a visor cage combo…. Or this 🤷🏽‍♂️
  5. Not sure which part you're referring to, but i didn't change any of the padding
  6. I would say no, and no. I haven't looked into the cost difference, but If there is a model with clarino in them stock, I would suggest total custom in that model, to keep things simple. Especially if you don't need any other wild accommodations to your feet. I had mine made with flattened arches and they turned out perfect.
  7. Very excited to get these today, can’t wait to try them out on ice. I’ll be putting together a long term review of them.
  8. https://gameoutsolutions.com/products/game-out-sports-laundry-detergent?variant=7386036142128 https://www.inlinewarehouse.com/Beeks_Reek_Out_Pro/descpage-RO32.html That's a good detergent if you have the capabilities, plus they have sprays https://www.microban24.com/products/sanitizing-spray-fresh/ not hockey specific but i like MicroBan too
  9. P15 was the old Reebok/Koho H15/D15, more gradual heel pattern P6 is more similar to the traditional Drury Or if you remember the old numbering system: P15 = 152-2 P6 = 132-2
  10. I’m guessing he’s talking about “booting out,” as I’ve heard it sometimes called. Which, 99 times out of 100 is a technique or ankle strength issue and not a skate or blade issue
  11. https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/sticks/one-piece-sticks/3469686-bauer-jack-eichel-new-senior-right-handed-supreme-adv-hockey-stick-toe-pattern-pro-stock?referral_code=Zydo441 i posted this thinking it was retail with a fake namebar, but the consensus was it’s a fake.
  12. This, it's incredible how many Easton innovations Bauer scoffed at that they're now trying to market as Bauer R&D "genius"
  13. The flexible boot will be the issue in my opinion. the Mako was designed to be flexible in the mid sole so the front of the foot could lead into the turn (think of a bobsled). But it was designed to work in conjunction with the holder and steel. start torquing this combo steel from back to front and we’ll see how long it takes to break that seal. My gut says not long.
  14. https://eaglehockey.com/product/pants/aero-custom-pro/ Eagle Customs direct available now, -1" or -2"
  15. There’s a Free Stuff thread on this site as well
  16. Any high volume retail place could order P-50 CCM team sticks far less expensive than Bauer custom.
  17. Maybe a 65 RibCore team would be perfect once you trim it
  18. If you're a lefty, i tried the BC20 from Base, it's about the closest thing I've found. Though its more similar to the old wood variation IMO
  19. Step does stainless XS, I'm also a fan of TyDan
  20. Rubber/Clay stone works well on that finish https://howieshockeytape.com/products/rubber-skate-stone?_pos=2&_sid=e77362d25&_ss=r
  21. I only did a little reading so please tell me if I’ve missed something with that condition; but if I had to make an educated guess, a stiff newer composite boot might be the last thing you want to go to in that condition, wouldn’t the rigid boot make it worse? and speaking generally, I’ve found newer stiffer boots are tough for coaching because any activity in those boots where you’re primarily standing and not moving is painful in any situation. have you had any boot in the pst that was tolerable for your condition? the first skate that comes to mind for me would be to look for older Graf 707, with doubled up thin skate socks. It would allow your foot some cushion and reduce rubbing and chafing of tour feet. (I suggest that, because up until about 10 years ago Graf would accommodate most any customizations for players.
  22. Asymmetrical toe boxes, and the flexible sole are the big ones
  23. Not a coincidence, I borrowed it almost verbatim 😁
